I lowered my dagger and let it fade into nothing then I went back into the house. Nori was able to get Kara to calm down. ‘Another angel was looking for you.’ I said in her mind.
“And who was it?”
‘Michael I think.’
“You never were very good at remembering names.”
“Takara why don’t you head off to bed you look exhausted I’ll lock everything up for you.” Nori smiled.
Takara hugged her one last time “I love you mom.” She buried her face into Nori’s shirt. “I wish dad were here.”
I looked down at the floor. ‘Should I let her see me?’ I asked myself looking back up to see Takara picking up her glass and heading towards the sink. I looked at Nori and she gave me a it won’t kill you look I sighed and let Takara pass me and I formed a solid form. Once she set the glass down in the sink I tapped her shoulder and she jolted around. I saw tears forming in the corners of her eyes. I laughed lightly and brushed them away from her face.
“Hey.” I said.
“Dad…” she chocked out and then hugged me.
“Come on now Takara don’t cry.” I whispered hugging her back.
I’ve just wanted to hold my daughters in my arms again for so long.
“How long have you been there?” She mumbled into my shirt.
“I’ve been standing there almost the entire time.” I laughed lightly. “Now your mother was right you should try and get some rest.” I told her brushing some strands of hair out of her face.
We watched Takara head up to bed and once I heard the door shut I looked at Nori. “You know I have to change her memory now to make it think it was just a dream.” I mentioned.
Nori looked down at the floor. “I know, I just couldn’t stand watching our little girl cry.” She muttered.
“Go ahead and lock up.” I sighed disappearing.
I got into her bedroom and she was so tired that she didn’t even change her clothes she just fell asleep. I touched her forehead and sent a wave threw her mind altering her memory of what just happened then I vanished back to the demon realm.
“Asa, Asa, I can’t find Ryo anywhere.” Aeirin cried running into my room and clutching onto my pant leg.
I picked her up and held her on my hip “Why don’t we go and ask my parents.” I offered.
“Okay.” She huffed.
I walked with her on my hip to the main hall where my parents usually spent their time.
“Where is Ryoen?” I asked them walking in unexpected.

I sighed and got out of bed. At this early in the morning I figured that Emiko would still be asleep so I walked past her room down to the Nurses station to sign out. I walked down the hall and turned to corner making sure no one was following me I teleported back to the demon realm. I ended up in my father room and Loki was standing by the window waiting for me.
“You are wanted in main hall.” He said.
“Alright.” I sighed and walked into the hall.
This was one of the only rooms I knew how to get to. I walked in and only Norien and Hiawai were sitting there waiting.
“Your new teacher is Vaporaii.” My grandfather told me.
“Why?” I questioned.
“Do not question Ryuu.” Hiawai answered.
I looked down at the ground “Yes ma’am.” I muttered.
Footsteps hit my ears and I looked up to Norien coming towards me. He took a hold of my chin so I couldn’t move and placed his hand close to my right eye.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
A shooting pain went threw my head and a scream of pain escaped from my throat. I stumbled back after he let go and looked up at him. IT was that shard that Father showed me.
“What…is that…” I asked.
“You’ve heard of the term keep your friends close and your enemies closer?” Hiawai asked me weaving her fingers and placing her chin on the back of her fingers.
“Yes.” I answered.
“Well those shards are something that the vessels want and what better to do then to have the shards so close to them they will never know that it’s there.” She smiled at me.
