Matsu yawned getting out of bed and stretching. He was increasingly tense in muscle from everything that had happened, and all he could do was sigh outwards feeling that strange feeling again... One hand went to reach up to his eye, yet he froze in that instant not wanting to touch it and yet wanting to touch it at the same time. The white haired man caught the dark haired man staring at him sideways, and after a minute, Matsu lowered his hand completely and forced a light smile on his face.
"Nino... I was thinking...." Matsu began as he looked down fully at the dark haired man before him. "We haven't really trained in a long time... it seems everyone around us is growing at an alarming rate.. and we're just stationary...." Nino said nothing but simply looked out the window. "I want to get this past... I want to get stronger right now."
Nino's eyes grew a fraction in surprise at Matsu's words. He had never seen the white haired man so determined in such the manner as he was then. Sighing outwards, Nino nodded after a minute. The dark haired man would have brought up the eye but knew it would have been a slash to something beyond Matsu's pride at that point, and Nino found himself unable to do it. "We do need to train," he finally agreed again nodding his head before looking out the window again.
So that I can kill that white haired witch soon.... Nino's eyes narrowed a fraction before he stopped and found Matsu's eye on him. "Let's leave," Nino stated aloud. With that, both the white haired man and dark haired man walked down the hallway oblivious to any other happenings in the hospital, snuck past the nurse's office due to the fact both men already knew that the hospital was not about to let Matsu leave, and walked out onto the street.
Matsu put his arms and hands behind his head methodically as they began walking down the street. Nino said nothing but continued walking. "Back to the basics of things," Matsu sighed outwards. "Good thing I checked the city before we even came... there's an abandoned parking garage a few blocks away, and the top should work nicely. I can't believes we haven't trained in so long... we used to all the time... especially on the road...." Matsu smiled to himself bout found Nino staring darkly ahead.
Taking hold of his arm and stopping the dark haired man, the white haired man waved his hand in front of him. "You ok, Nin-kun?" Matsu asked. Nino looked back at Matsu and simply nodded. "Never one to hold up a conversation when you don't want to," Matsu finally sighed a bit to himself. Nino just kept walking. "Are you mad at me, Nino?" Matsu finally asked causing Nino to stop walking completely. The dark haired man stared for a minute at Matsu. The white haired man just simply returned the stare.
"Why... would you think I was mad at you, Matsu?" Nino finally stated as he started walking on. "You're the only one I can never be mad at." With that, the dark haired man continued walking down the street despite the fact that Matsu was the one who knew the directions. The white haired man looked down still standing there for a minute before feeling a smile worked all the way across his face. Looking up, Matsu let out a light laugh.
"Hah..." he finally answered back walking faster to catch up with Nino now. Both men walked a few more minutes before finally coming to what appeared to be the abandoned parking garage. Matsu stared up at it a fraction finding it harder to see the large objects with just one eye. Shaking his head a fraction, Matsu brought his hand up to his head feeling a slight pain in it. Nino looked over almost as though he had his own empathetic powers. However, after another moment, Nino looked back at the garage.
"Let's go..." the dark haired man sighed starting inwards and towards the elevator that would lead all the way to the top floor. However, the elevator, from long since been overused, was out of use now. Sighing, the dark haired man started up the stairs instead. They both walked slowly, at a quiet pace that not many could hear, and as soon as they got to the top, both men spread out to opposite sides of the parking garage.
Turning, Nino formed his gun in his hand to stare at Matsu who had turned as well and held his katana in hand. Almost instantly, the sounds of gun fire hit the air, and the fight was on. Shooting off spirit energy, Nino moved to counter Matsu who was running straight towards him blocking the bullets with his katana. The sound of metal clashing on metal rang out in the area as both men darted forwards with full speed.
Sword met gun, and the sound of slashing metal continued to breathe outwards loud into the air. Both men were suddenly frozen as each was frozen in trying to force the other back. Nino felt his muscles shaking as he pushed forwards trying to force Matsu back. Staring back, Matsu was doing just the same trying to keep his strength from failing him. Eye was on eye, and suddenly both were forced back.
The sounds of heels on cement echoed a fraction as both men landed on the opposite sides of the parking garage and were standing identical to one another on each ledge. Nino raised his gun and formed it into a sword. Matsu raised his katana and formed it into a gun. Both all but exchanged weapons and the fight was on once more. Matsu shot off several bullets of pure energy, and with each one, Nino batted it like baseballs back at Matsu. The white haired man had to lunge a few feet in order to avoid his own attacks. Both men carried blank faces, and in half a second, the sound of metal on metal rang out again as both were together once more trying to force the other back. Matsu's heels dug into the cement to the point it was digging a hole into the actual cement. Nino found his right back leg sliding a fraction.
"That eye of yours hasn't hindered you in the least, Matsu," Nino commented suddenly smirking a fraction. Surprise moved over Matsu's face for half a second before his face returned to normal.
"Did you expect it to?" Matsu finally asked using a sudden burst of strength to force Nino back a few inches. Nino stared back and half smirked again.
"Not in the least," the dark haired man answered suddenly doubling his force and shoving Matsu back completely. Being forced back Matsu found his force lost, and he was falling straight backwards. However, the white haired man brought forwards his arms and did a handstand before moving straight back and kicking Nino in the shoulder. The dark haired man moved back in order to only receive a graze from the kick and then jumped forwards again with sword in hand. However, Matsu had fully flipped then and there and shot straight at the incoming Nino. The bullet slammed straight into the sword in Nino's hand, and for half a second, Nino found himself brushed back.
Flinching half a second, the dark haired man swiped his word and broke the smoke that had come off the end of Matsu's gun. Matsu breathed out a fraction and then formed a lance in one hand. Suddenly charging forwards in order the white haired man made a direct attack forwards. Bringing up the sword he had used, Nino formed it instantly into a shield. The sound of lance on shield vibrated a fraction and then fell into silence.
Nino breathed out and then used his arm to force back the lance. Matsu backed up quickly and jumped to the other end of the garage with ease. Suddenly forming his katana once more in hand, the white haired man waited and stared at the dark haired man. Nino nodded a fraction and formed his gun. Suddenly rushing forwards again, both men clashed yet again. Matsu forced his blade up on the trigger of the gun sharply keeping it from firing at him. Nino flinched feeling the gun about to leave his grip. Jumping up sharply Nino followed the motion of the katana's swing in order to keep hold of the gun. For half a second, both men were frozen directly vertical, Matsu forcing Nino up in the air and the dark haired man complying with the motion to the point he was doing what appeared to be a one handed hand stand on the white haired man's hand. Flipping, Nino landed on the other side quickly turning around as Matsu twisted and held his katana ready again.
Suddenly moving straight downwards and then upwards to uppercut Matsu with the barrel of his gun, the dark haired man moved in an instant and was about to continue the swing when he found a katana at his shoulder. Neither man moved, Matsu with a gun aimed at his head and Nino with a katana ready to cut of his head. Nino smirked a bit up at Matsu who smirked down. In half a second, sound exploded and both darted away again with ease back to their ends of the parking garage. Matsu spat and rubbed his mouth to find blood running down the side of it. Rubbing it up and making more of a hair gesture, the white haired man stared back at the dark haired man. However, the dark haired man had not come away unscratched either, blood was starting to move down his shoulder from where the katana had been ready to cut his head off.
"Last go around?" Matsu smiled after a minute. "I'm kind of tired."
"Sounds good," Nino answered back.
In that second, both charged again. Nino had formed a sword and was dealing blows that were blocked by Matsu as the white haired man blocked with his katana. Slam after slam of metal on metal resonated in the air calling out loudly, yet it was no wonder why no one heard. It was abandoned after all. Suddenly frozen in position both men stood shaking again against each other's pure shamanistic force. Both blown back again, heels dug into the ground, and both men once again stood across from each other. In that half second, Nino raised his sword and formed it into a black bow. Pulling straight back on the bow, the dark haired man found a sudden increase in his own energy as the arrow formed and twisted with dark energy. Matsu's hand had suddenly tightened on his katana forming his own bow completely white. Pulling back on the string, the white haired man formed his own arrow filled with white energy.
Both released their arrows at once, and the collision of the two energies suddenly exploded, and almost instantly the cement of the abandoned parking lot began to crack and suddenly turn to rubble as the energies continued to grow from the spontaneous point at which they hit. Twisting with violent black and white energy, the ball of power consumed the cement easily and was continuing to expand. Both dark haired man and white haired man looked past the ball and began to jump straight off the side of the parking garage in order to avoid the energy that was continuing to expand faster and faster.
Jumping straight off the side, Nino formed his gun again and shot at the ground trying to slow his fall. Matsu formed his own gun and did teh same. Both landed sixty meters away from each other, and almost instantly the white and dark haired men stared up at the energy ball as it consumed the top level of the garage and then vanished again.
Matsu's sigh brought Nino back from staring at where the ball had been, and suddenly the dark haired man found himself lunging to catch the white haired man. Matsu's one eye was closed, and he sighed out a fraction. "That was a lot more than...." Matsu tried but shook his head feeling the sudden extreme rush of fatigue overtake him. Nino, who didn't have such the fatigue but was suddenly feeling mildly tired simply held the white haired man for a minute before starting to slowly walk him back to the hospital. Sneaking back across the nurses' station, Nino brought Matsu back to his room again.
Matsu lay in the bed now sighing to himself. "That... was a really good workout....." Matsu sighed closing on eye. "I never formed that weapon before... and I felt something different about it..." he sighed outwards after a minute. Nino was silent but slumped into a chair and sighed outwards feeling the sudden fatigue overtake him again.
"That was...." Nino said staring up at the ceiling. "Much more powerful than before..." he breathed out again.
"Mhm...." Matsu answered back nodding a fraction.
