“So,” Aiba asked looking around. “What do we do now?”
“Let’s have some fun!” Puck said aloud as he flew around.“Since you’re an honored guest you can change the scenery to whatever you want. How about a beach? Or an amusement park? Whatever you want so go nuts!” The fairy said flailing his arms.
“Whatever I want?” Aiba said blinking. “Hmm…” He crossed his arms and thought of the first thing that truly came to mind. Almost instantly a large expanse of terrain seemed to appear, and the entire group was now standing on a hill overlooking a valley. Turning around, Aiba grinned a fraction. 'Hey! It's home!" he suddenly exclaimed looking down towards the valley area below.
"Home?" Aisling blinked looking outwards at the expanse of land followed by a merging sea. The tree had not changed, and sh was still sitting under it. Aiba nodded a bit looking back at Aisling for half a second. The Wolf's ears twitched again as he lifted his head up and stared out at the land and the trees. Stretching a fraction and then standing up to let out a sudden howl that echoed into the area, Ookami stared up at the sky and took on an almost regal look. In that instant, the wofl darted downwards into the trees that continued down the hill. Aiba's eyes grew, and a grin continued to grow on his face.
"Is this really looks like what your home does?" Aisling said standing up and staring out even more getting a glimpse of what was around.
"Kind of," Aiba answered back. "It's a sacred island that my people know about...It's said spirits come and rest here because of the large amount of spiritual chii that comes straight out of the island itself.... and it's said to link to the other worldly gates...And it's protected by us" the dark haired boy made a direction point with his thumb at himself all but proudly.
"It's where I first found these, too," he finished holding up his hand now full of rings. "Mom used to take me and Nino here when we were younger... to..." he broke off and wouldn't begin to explain what he had learned of their mother's intentions after years. "Play with the spirits and things.... Everyone else came too... sometimes..."
"It's amazing..." Aisling said as she stared down towards the trees and hidden brush below. "It looks completely untouched by man..."
"Yep.... barely anyone knows about it...." Aiba answered back grinning more.
Ookami's howl seemed to come up out of the brush right then and there followed by a series of other howls. Aiba blinked in surprise wondering if they had just disappeared back to the island instead of it just being an illusion.
"More wolves?" Puck said turning himself upside down in the air as though unsure of what to make of it. However, Aiba was grinning at Aisling.
"Come on!" he said suddenly taking her hand and starting to run down the hill. "I'll show you stuff!" Puck seemed to take a double take of what had just happened as he watched both run down the hill. The hill slopped stiffly, yet Aiba was able to keep himself form falling down it completely with light ease. Not the same could be said for Aisling who nearly tripped a few times but managed to catch herself each time by increasing her speed down the hill and using the momentum to force herself up again.
Puck looked down where they had gone and was about to follow when he was batted suddenly by the Puma who had suddenly seemed to come from nowhere and pounce him. The fairy seemed to squirm and tried to call for help desperately as the cat began to lick him as if trying to make him more digestible in the process. However, Ookami came running up the hill again sharply and growled irritated at the Puma. The great cat stared at the great dog and finally let out a hiss before releasing Puck and wandering off again. Ookami sighed a bit, picked Puck up by his teeth gently and started running down the hill once more.
"Hey let go! I can walk or fly! Let go!" Puck said looking up at the Wolf who didn't bother to look back down. Instead the Wolf continued to run deeper into the forest.
Aiba ran through the familiar path towards what he expected to be there. "Aiba slow down! I'm..." Suddenly Aisling tripped falling forwards causing Aiba to trip, and both went rolling a few feet before finally hitting a tree. "Ow...." Aisling groaned aloud, and in that half second, Aiba realized that he was all but sitting on Aisling now somehow. Forcing himself up an dthen extending a hand to help her up, Aiba rubbed the back of his head.
"Sorry..." he laughed a fraction nervously. The weird lump twisted in his stomach in that fraction of a moment, and the dark haired boy found himself strangely tense for half a second. Shaking his head a bit, Aiba helped Aisling back up.
"Where were were running to, anyways?" Aisling asked looking around the trees now.
"It's right this way," Aiba answered back as he started through the trees once more. The sound of their movement was not easily heard to humans, but many of the would-be animals even in the strange world looked around and moved away. Finally coming into the full clearing by the beach, Aiba's smile grew. Pointing his finger forwards but looking back at Aisling, Aiba laughed outwards. "See?"
The towers or rather totems that extend their wake across the beach were enormous to say the least of things. Each one was in the shape of an animal or had several animals stacked on top of one another, and the entire line of them went for nearly a quarter mile in both directions. "They're called the Sea and Land guards. They're supposed to keep others out, but we do too," he laughed rubbing the back of his head. "They let us in... because... we're shamans I guess hah..."
"Did someone you know make these?" Aisling said staring up at one of the statues as if examining it.
"Nope," Aiba answered back. "They've supposedly been here since before man walked here... it was supposedly the Higher Spirits' doing."
"They're very detailed..." Ailsing answered back continuing to look at one that was in the complete shape of a bear. Aiba nodded a bit and stared up at it. The bear carving stared slightly down at the children and slightly out towards the see with unseeing eyes as it had for beyond centuries.
The Wolf's howl caused the dark haired boy to turn his head and stare up inland again. "What was that about?" he asked aloud only to find that the wolf was standing on a hill not to far off and howling up at the sky with his back fully arched.
"Was he... missing home?" Aisling tried. Aiba nodded a bit in agreement on the suggestion.
"Probably," he answered back. "I kind of... missed it too....Hey! Let's have more fun! Come on!" he said extending his hand again. "We'll go see the temple!"
Puck's form was still being held up by Ookami before the wolf finally released the fairy and looked down a bit with a grin. The fairy looked suddenly mortified. I won't eat you.... The Wolf smirked a bit. Too small of a meal anyways..... He chuckled. With that, Ookami began to walk back into the forest again. Puck, who had allowed curiosity in the end to get the best of him, started to follow the Wolf.
Winding through the trees and things again, Aiba twisted to the right sharply and came towards yet another clearing. "This was said to be made by the master of the island," Aiba smiled looking up at the giant wall of rock cut inwards and making perfect steps upwards. At the top, what appeared to be a wooden and stone house stood at the top. Aisling made a step forwards to go up. However, Aiba took her arm.
"We're not allowed up there..." he answered Aisling's sudden confused features. "I just wanted to show it.... It's supposed to be the highest spirit's home...."
"Ah..." Aisling answered back staring up at it. "Not even in Sanctuary, I guess....." she nodded a bit to herself as though understanding what Aiba meant by it. Despite the fact that one could change the scenery and show something back in time didn't mean they could do it and break natural wishes of those that were in the time. "What animal is the Highest Spirit?" she asked.
"He's supped to not even have a true form...I think..." Aiba answered back. "From what I've heard... he can take any form he likes...Anyways... ya..." he smiled putting his hands behind his head. "This place is amazing..."
"Help!!!!!!!!!!!" Puck's voice echoed in Aiba's ears causing the dark harired boy to turn his head. The Puma was after him again and chasing him with ease as the fairy continued to try and get away. Aiba blinked. Aisling resisted the urge to laugh. Puck had a face of terror, and the Puma was the only one having fun.

I figured that without even knowing it, Aiba summoned a lot of the Animal Spirits that took into the island which was why they were there. Actually I just wanted to laugh at a Puma chasing Puck but ya.... Anyways, that's all I have *is brain fried*
