I awoke refreshed and ready for the day to come. I knew I needed to find Ame and ask her if she would let me train under her. As I brushed out my hair with the comb I kept hidden in my purse, I looked at myself in the mirror. Had I always had that scared, hopeless look deep inside my eyes?

Had I always been this scared of the real world? I guess, in a way, I had. There was always something I was scared of, whether it be my reputation, my family, Emiko. But, I had been really great at covering it all up. Now, however, all the terror seemed to be materializing at the surface.

Sighing, I set my jaw and opened the door. I had no idea where Ame was, or when she was going to be back. I figured my best bet would be to go wait in Matsu's room since she really liked him. She would circulate and make her way to him eventually.

I yawned, sitting up. Glancing out the window, I saw the sun was high in the sky, shining down on the city brightly. I hoped today would be as great as the weather looked. Getting off the bed, I went to the stack of clothes that were sitting on the chair and got changed.

The bracelet Ryuu had given me caught my eye. I held my wrist and stared at it for awhile, smiling. Once dressed, I had no idea what I was going to do, so I decided to go and find someone to do something with.
