Who They Are

Sho Sakurai sighed as he released both men. Nino took a step forwards and turned towards the brown haired man saying nothing. Matsu simply turned his head a minute and stared with his one eye. "Welcome home," Sho sighed before closing his eyes again and vanishing from the area he had just transported them to. Upon coming back into the hallway of the hospital, Sho sensed Yugdrassial was slightly tried from such a transport. Forgive me Great Tree.... Sho thought to himself calmly.

It's fine.... the spirits' voice was quiet and more of a whisper than anything else. I was just unused to transporting people of such.... aura....

Once again, you have my apologies.... Sho sighed to himself. He was not a summoner but was able to feel the spirits of the great diverse life around him. It had made him disciplined as a man, and it also gave him 'friends' of sorts in higher places. However, he felt no full bods with them and could only share their thoughts when both were willing to communicate. This was his limit at not being born a summoner.

Wrapped in his own thoughts for a moment, Sho walked down the hallway. There were still things that needed to be done. He needed to check on Aiba for one thing and also look into where exactly Ohno and Ame were. The bear-like man felt the strain of being the rather self appointed leader of this group of people, and as he passed a girl and what appeared to be a man following her, he nearly overlooked the overwhelming smell of demon. When it finally hit the man, he stopped and turned around. However, the people he had just seen appeared to be out of sight. This did not bother the bear man who could still tell that they were hiding around the corner.

"I expect you want something," Sho said leaning back on his heels a fraction now waiting to see what the demon was doing here. Was this what had caused Matsu to stress such? It was a question the brown haired man was about to answer for himself.

"You are indeed insightful," a male voice answered back. Sho didn't bother to turn around but simply waited for the demon to come around the comer again. Once he heard footsteps, Sho turned and crossed his arms to find the demon fully back into the hallway again followed by the girl.

"Answer the question, if you would be so kind. It was a question, you know," Sho answered back in a calm tone. The brown haired man was not about to charge this and start a fight unless there was clear evidence that this demon was working for one of the Seven... or rather six now due to the circumstances that had arisen.

"We do not want anything but to simply see what there is to see at the moment," a girl next to the demon answered as she stepped forwards with a calm yet morose look on her face.

So she's a Pactmaker of this demon then.... was the only thought that moved through Sho's mind. And the world wasn't complicated enough already... "I expect that you want something more if you are wandering these hallways when I believe you already know what lies in here," Sho answered back.

A calm smile was all but plastered on the face of the demon. Sho half smirked to himself and was reminded a fraction of Matsu's smile. In the back of his mind, he was hoping that he had done the right thing in sending the two back.... there would be contraceptive fighting....yet it was nothing to what would later be an all out gradient scale issue.

"We are aware that there are people working on the haunted school case... and we are aware that there is a war starting..." the girl continued. Sho was now addressing her more than the demon. "We came here to see those that were also working on the case. And we expect you are one of those people."

"You are mistaken then," Sho answered back, and a look of surprise seemed to riddle the girl's face for a minute. "I have no intention of solving a case. I have far worse matters to attend to."

"I see..." the girl answered back as though taking this into mind.

"M'lady... there appears to be another demon within the hospital..." the demon said aloud turning his head a bit. "And it appears he is heading down stairs..."

Sho's eyes widened for half a second before narrowing. Had he managed to allow such things enter? The brown haired man bit the inside of his mouth and debated this new circumstance. So there were two demons within the hospital... one appeared to be more or less on a leash while the other...

"Shall we pursue him?" the demon asked turning his head.

"It does suit for now," the girl answered back. Sho stared a minute before rubbing his temple and then looking back at them both. He was not used to working with demons, yet he had worked with plenty of people that were inner demons. It didn't faze him in the way that it would have, and instead it was simply one more thing to add to the list of thoughts already moving in the brown haired man;s mind.

Sho Sakurai never answered the questioning of the demon. The girl had answered it, yet the brown haired brick-wall man walked past the two of them and was headed towards the downstairs in order to deal with the other demon. However, in that moment, the hospital lights shut off.

Aiba walked down the hall followed suit by Aisling, but in half a second, he froze and quickly restricted his step and all but pulled Aisling back behind a corner. "What..." Aisling started but Aiba just shook his head and peered over the corner of the wall. What appeared to be a shadow figure was moving along the walls following the shadow of a nurse who was also walking. "It's just a nur-" Aisling started but Aiba put his hand square over her mouth. Aisling stopped again.

"There's something there...." Aiba finally whispered. "And it doesn't feel right.... I can't explain it.. but we have to turn around...." Aisling seemed surprised but nodded to this slowly. Walking back down the back hallway and taking the stairs downwards instead of the elevator, Aiba kept an eye out for what he had seen. He was all but running down the stairs and all but dragging Aisling with him.

"What exactly did you see?" Aisling said managing to catch her breath in the half second that Aiba had stopped to pull open the door that led out of the stairwell.

"There was some sort of.. shadow... I can't explain it...." Aiba answered back shaking his head. "But... it felt cold... really cold... We have to get away from it... I think it's trying to follow us... Come on..." Aiba said taking hold of Aisling's hand before starting out of the stairwell and into the lobby of the medical building. Aiba's eyes were searching in every direction at once. However, in that minute, the power was killed, and the lights shut off.

Mei Rin laughed a fraction happy to be able to be seen and to actually talk with Ohno. She finally sat herself downward and alongside Ohno often taking different food from him as they talked lightly. Suddenly, Ohno noticed the demonic pressure increase. He blinked a fraction and wondered if Edanial was coming towards the cafeteria. If Mattie's done with whatever he did... I guess it's fine.... Sure enough, the sounds of footsteps approaching caught Ohno's attention, and he found the demon standing a few yards away. Catching sight of Sephira, Edanial appeared to walk forwards. However, in that half second, Mei Rin's eyes grew sharply.

A demon???? her heart jumped into her throat in panic. She had known what to do with demons as a human but had never learned as an angel. Fear suddenly gripped her as she was unsure of what to do. However, in that moment, Mei Rin caught sight of Aine walking back into the cafeteria. She made a quick wave as though trying to get the other angel's attention, yet in that second, the lights went out.
