A Wish A Gift A Curse

"Welcome home," was the only words that Nino heard before sighing outwards and watching Sho Sakurai disappear. The dark haired man looked at the white haired man, and then both looked around calmly. In that moment, the dark haired man resisted the urge to groan. Matsu sighed and rested his head sideways on Nino's shoulder.

"We haven't been home.... in a long time...." Matsu sighed staring a bit. They were standing in what could only be described as a monumental forest untouched by humanity's machines but rather grazed by quiet humans who mingled with it. It was not the scared island of Earth spirits, yet it was the mainland not far from it.

The dark haired man said nothing for a moment before closing his eyes and letting out a sigh. "We've been slipping......" he finally admitted. From the moment the dark haired man had seen the brown haired man in the parking garage, he had known that the consequences for slipping were about to be heard.

"I've been slipping," Matsu answered back changing the wording. "I didn't mean for you to get stuck in this as well... Nin-kun... I know going home isn't-"

"Stop," Nino answered back sharply causing Matsu to fall into silence. "Let's just go...." he let out a sigh and started walking through the forest area. Matsu nodded to himself and walked alongside the dark haired man. Neither one spoke, yet they were already in each other's minds on the subject of them coming there. Nino was assessing what the Council was going to do while Matsu was more or less confirming this idea with his own thoughts. In the end, both came to the same conclusion.

Moving through the heavily treed area, Nino finally found the clearing appearing. It was just as it had been. The houses, more modern now than they had been more out of convenience sake than anything else, were lined up in a rather interesting pattern to say the least of things. From the sky, a bird could see the entire formation as a giant symbol of some sort, yet neither the bird nor the people in the airplanes that happened to look down would be able to fully tell what the symbol was.

The boy at the front who was to see them first all but jumped in surprise as he recognized the two Vessels. Without even starting talk to them, the boy instead turned and started running through the area calling out words of 'return' and the likes. Nino found a twitch run through his stomach, and before he could think, the dark haired man had formed his spirit gun and shot the boy square in the back of the head with light spirit energy. It was just enough to knock him out without forcing the soul from his body or something of the likes. Upon hearing the gunshot, even more people than before began to come outwards and stare at the dark haired man and the white haired man that had made their entrance known in this way.

"So the Necromancer's back...." a woman whispered to her husband to the point neither Nino or Matsu could hear. The man who was next to the woman said nothing but nodded to himself as if he were taking this into consideration. Nino breathed inwards and willed himself to step into the area followed suit by Matsu. The dark haired man could already tell it was going to be a very long day.
