Lights out already?! Darn...

~Edaniel

I walked down the stairs, headed for the cafeteria. Kitty came out when we were alone.

"That guy really didn't like you, huh!" she said. "I mean, jeez! He obviously just met Sephira and he's all like" she copied the guys voice exactly: "Don't you do anything to her!"

"Heh, he could be a problem, but if you noticed, he's no longer here." I had kept a watch on his spirit presence, and he had recently dissappeared. "I would move quickly."

"Tell me you notice that?" said Kitty.

"What? The demon that just honed in on my location? Definately." Focussing on the gem located in my demonic eye, summoning up a small, black, mouse like thing. "Go. Stay out of sight. Tell me about this demon who is following me. And don't get caught." The mouse dissapeard in the wall.

~~~
It scrambled in the wall, following the demon presence that wasn't it's masters. When it reached the place the energy was the strongest, it looked out the wall without revealing itself. When it saw the human girl it took notice to the fact that it was bonded to her, and ran back to it's master before it was noticed.
~~~

"So, he's bound to a human. Hm. He doesn't seem to like me. Well, let him find me. I have other things to take care of..." the mouse dissappeared back into my eye. We reached the bottom of the stairwell, and Kitty dissappeared.

Reaching the cafeteria, I found Sephira and walked over. The Ohno guy was talking to an angel. Angel? Jeez, the guy hates me so much because he hangs out with those goody two shoes!

"Let's leave them alone." said Sephira, noticing my looking at the angel. She had noticed me, and was looking rather frightened. Such a young, powerless thing should be afraid of a powerfull demon like me. But I was here to gun down doves. I was here to steel an eagle's power.

"What ever. It's not for me to say what angels do." I replied.

"Especially since you're from the opposite end." I looked at her shocked. So she knew? "Yeah, I figuered it out, but I wasn't sure at first. I'm surprised Matsu-kun let you go!"

"Yeah, surprised me too." We walked toward the lunch line. I took a slice of meatloaf and a bruised apple. Sephira picked up a big steak. I gave her a questioning look.

"I'm a meat lover. Hehheh!" she said embarrassed. Sitting down, I watched the meat loaf as it seemed to prepare to attack my apple. Um, was human food suppose to do that? Picking up the apple, I took a bite. It was dry and bland, but it was sustinance. I continued to watch the meatloaf as it creeped across the tray.

"If you don't mind, I'm going to meditate." S (keep forgetting that nickname!) had pulled her legs up into a crossed position on her chair.

"Uh, sure." As soon as I said that, she closed her eyes and her jewel shone just a little brighter. As I was about to stab the living meatloaf, the lights suddenly went out. I could barely see by the light of Sephira's jewel.

I found myself in a wooded forest, illuminated by a full moon. A wolf trotted up to me. Patting it's head, I looked up again to see a beautiful woman with dark hair, dark eyes, wearing a native American like hunting outfit. A bow was slung over her shoulder.

"Finally you come!" said Artemis. I smiled. "I have much to tell you. I will make it as short as possible, so you can return to the real world.

"First. You have very raw spirit power. Before me and the other spirits came, you own spirit energy was slight. Because what we gave you is so raw, it is easily touched by certain other pressures, you are more susceptible to their effects. The Demon Lords especially. They all stand for the deadly sins, and their spirit energy reflects it onto you. You must avoid them at all costs. This is not your war. Stay out of it.

"Second: avoid trusting that demon. I don't know his intentions, but I know that, even though his powers are currently surpressed, he is extremely dangerous.

"Now you must leave. Things are happening in your world. I will grant you some light. Please, heed my warnings! That hard head of yours is no good when it comes to warnings..." I smiled. She knew me too well.

I opened my eyes to nearly total darkness. People were murmuring around me.

"What? Bed time already?" I asked smiling. My jewel shone softly, bathing E-kun in a purple glow.

"No. Somethings happening..." Just then some guy that reminded a LOT of a bear came up behind E-kun.

"Why are you here, demon?" he asked solemnly. E-kun sighed.

"I don't think I need to tell you. If I was doing harm, don't you think I would have killed that angel over there already?" he replied. "My business is my business, and it doesn't concern you or anyone at this hospital besides this girl in front of me." Me? Why me? The bear guy didn't look very convinced. "If you really want to hear it, talk to that white haired guy. Oh, wait! He left. Well, you'll have to live without nosing into my business." Now the guy looked really unhappy. This wouldn't go well. I sat, feeling unable to do anything but cast a bit of light.

.:~Sephira and Edaniel~:.

Your turn Kratos! Figuered you'd like to deal with E-kun. Poor hobo demon isn't in a good mood... :D

Edaniel: NOT A HOBO!!!

Me: Yes you are!

Sephira: *giggle giggle*
