Aiba's eyes grew as he watched the shadow creature seem to retreat. However, he still had that chill in his body....
"What do we do?" Aisling had asked aloud. Aiba couldn't find the words to answer. His eyes skimmed around the room a moment, and finally he shook his head. His thoughts were all jumbled, and at that point, all he was trying to do was get them all back into order.
"It's still light out. We should go outside. It wouldn't be a good idea to fight it in the hospital," Aiba finally answered back.
Aisling nodded and both began to head away and towards an exit. Suddenly Aiba felt his entire body go numb. He couldn't move. "What the?" the dark haired boy said aloud "I can't move...."
"What's happening?" Aisling called back.
"Ack! It snuck up on us from behind!" the other fairy had called out suddenly looking around to attack. However, in that moment, something attacked the shadow. Aiba's eye only caught it the instant the shadow disappeared.
"Delicious," a voice said, but the bearer of the voice was gone by the time Aiba had a chance to look. In that minute, Aiba caught sight of the man now standing before him and Aisling.
"Who are you?" Aiba asked unsure of what else to say.
"Good afternoon children. My name is Merrick Alvey. Here's my business card." the man answered back. Aiba found his fingers close around the card, and his muscle twitched a fraction.
"Merrick the Extraordinary Mystic Man." Aiba stared down at the card and read it aloud. Again, something in him twitched... he couldn't explain it, yet....Where have... I heard that name....
"Wait...Aren't you...my uncle?" Aisling had said aloud causing a break in Aiba's thoughts as the dark haired boy jumped a fraction.
"You're uncle?" Aiba repeated looking from Merrick to Aisling.
"That's right! It's so good too see you again Ashley! Come here and give your favorite uncle a hug!" Aiba blinked in confusion. He seemed normal enough..... However, the moment Aisling went tense, Aiba went even more tense. Suddenly having Aisling hiding behind him, Aiba turned his head a fraction.
"Huh? What's wrong?" Merrick asked back.
"Aisling?" Aiba said confused looking over his shoulder at Aisling who was now all but digging her nails into his arm.
"Merrick!" Aiba breathed outwards as he saw the red haired angelic woman running up with the furry of a thousand....Aiba didn't get to finish his thought as the red haired Aine smacked the man over the face. "Where were you?! You disappeared when the lights went out!"
"Ouch..Sorry I sensed something that caught my attention and couldn't resist investigating. And look who I found." Merrick finished. Aiba looked at Aine wanting answers but unsure if he was going to receive them or not. Aisling was still behind him and he could feel her extremely tense now.
"Aisling?" Aiba asked looking over his shoulder again. "Aisling it's ok... I'm right here..." Aisling shook her head a bit and continued to stare at Merrick. Aiba turned his head around again and felt unsure of himself right then and there. His eyes moved on Merrick again as Aine seemed all but ready to tear the man apart. "Come on...." Aiba said quietly to Aisling. "Let's figure out why the lights shut off..." Aisling said nothing for a minute but seemed to tighten her grip on his arm. The sudden backlash affect of fear seemed to wave over the dark haired boy, yet he wasn't as unnerved by it as he might have been at that point. After what appeared to be a minute of arguing between Merrick and Aine, Aine turned and sighed outwards before addressing Aiba and Aisling.
"Are you two alright?" Aine finally asked. Aiba nodded a fraction. "Something has eaten both the main power and the backup generators... lives are in danger with the power off..."
"We'll go find the generators and restart them then," Aiba answered back suddenly bulking up. Aine seemed to blink a moment before smiling and nodding. Aiba turned back to Aisling, took her hand, and started to walk away from Merrick. Out of the corner of his eye, the dark haired boy noticed that the magician man made a motion to follow the two but was stopped by the angel and redirected in a different direction. As soon as they were farther down the hall, Aiba turned his head towards Aisling who was now walking beside him. "Are you ok?" he asked turning his head to one side.
"Ya...." Aisling answered back as though unsure of what else to say on the matter. "I... just didn't feel anything when he touched me, and I can usually feel everything...."
Aiba, who had only a small empathic power if any at all, seemed to nod a fraction as he tried to wrap his mind around the thought on Merrick again. They continued walking and both found themselves at an elevator. Aiba laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his head. No power meant to elevator. "Come on we'll find the stairs," Aiba said aloud. Aisling who seemed wrapped up in her own thoughts at the moment simply nodded and followed.
"So he's your uncle?" Aiba finally asked as they were both walking down the stairs now. Aisling made a small nod and seemed to be organizing her thoughts again.
"He's my father's brother, and he..." she broke of and just shook her head. Suddenly Aiba remembered where he had heard the name.
That Kidnapper.... Ookami snarled causing both Aiba and Aisling to jump. The Wolf had never spoken outside his summing, yet there he was none the less. Aiba looked down at his hand and found that the Wolf ring had started to produce waves of spirit energy taking the form of almost a flame. That Thief! That Kidnapper! That Thief! Kidnapper! Thief! Kidnapper! I will tear his head off!
"Ookami?" Aiba asked looking down at his ring.
That damn magician stole from The Spirit! He stole from him! I will chew his head off! Ookami roared irritated now. Aiba put his hand up to his ear as if to try and block the sound but found that it was not sound in the air that was being produced but rather Ookami's telepathic power.
"He... ?" Aisling asked as though she was willing to take more information now.
He's the one who broke onto The Island! And he..... Ookami was barking now, yet Aiba couldn't begin to think. If Ookami said The Spirit... it meant the most powerful... the one that rested on the Island and whose home it was forbidden to enter.... Aiba recoiled now.
"What did he....?" Aiba asked finding that he had nearly tripped down the stairs without realizing it. Aisling appeared ready to ask the same question. Ookami did not answer but growled in irritation.
He kidnapped Water.... Ookmai growled again.
"Water?" Aiba and Aisling asked at the same time. They were at the bottom of the stairs now and had turned to find a door marked 'Employees only'. Aiba pushed past it as more of a force of habit than anything.
Not water. Water. Capital Aiba. It is a name Ookmai corrected but kept his voice sounding irritating and causing Aiba to believe the Wolf was irritated with him. Water is one of the four elemental Earth Spirits... she belonged to The Spirit as one of the Four Protectors of The Spirit's home. He took her! Aiba felt the burn that was running through his finger and was resisting the urge to pull off his ring. I'll tear his head off!! Aiba! I demand you summon me! Aiba bit the inside of his mouth resisting the urge to rip the ring off. His entire hand almost felt on fire now.
"Ookami...." Aiba tried causing the Wolf to recoil a fraction from the way he had said the name. "He's Aisling's uncle...I'm not going to summon you... Are you sure that he....."
Don't question me Aiba! Ookami roared back. Aiba flinched a bit from the barking in his mind.
"I..." Aisling said, and for the first time in that moment, Aiba realized that she had heard everything that Ookami had said.
"Aisling..." Aiba said not sure what else to say. However in that moment his mind turned to something else. "come on... We need to restart the generator..."

Sho was pressing the button on the elevator when the lights went out. Swearing to himself, the bear man turned around and found that the girl behind him along with the demon seemed to grow very tense. "Not demon at all, but far worse in this case," Sho answered the conversation before bringing his hand up to his face. Forgive me Yugdrassial for transporting three, yet I cannot let these two run through the hospital without supervision, and I cannot take the time to get down stairs...
It is understandable, Sho Sakurai.... Suddenly a light seemed to appear from within the darkness, and Sho disappeared along with the girl and the demon. The process was clean and easy, in a half second, Sho was standing at the entrance to the cafeteria. In that moment, he caught sight of Aine who was also entering with another man. The brown haired man stared for a minute at the man and felt his muscles tighten. Yet he would avoid confrontation in a hospital of all places. No... not when there was still other things to do.

Ohno's eye caught a fraction as the demon from before appeared to walk over towards Sephira. So Mattie let him off the hook... I wonder on what circumstances.....Doesn't mean I can't keep being a spectator. However, in the next second, the lights went out. Ohno tensed. Mei Rin tensed even more right then and there and seemed to be trying to conger up her own light. In a half second,a small amount of light appeared from the tips of Mei's fingers. The other red haired twin sighed a bit and kept his eye on those that were in the cafeteria.
In that half second, Ohno caught sight of Sho appearing and heading straight towards the demon. He also caught sight of Aine. Mei Rin tensed on seeing Aine but rose quietly and headed towards the elder angel as though ready to question what had happened.
"Why are you here, demon?" Sho asked aloud. It was loud enough to the point that Ohno could hear it. Ohno smiled lightly to himself. Leave it to Sho-o-oh to be our protective bear.....
"I don't think I need to tell you. If I was doing harm, don't you think I would have killed that angel over there already?" the demon shot back. Sho's eyes leered down at the demon in front of him now and appeared ready to rip yet another demon apart. There was already too much confusion at that point.
"My business is my business, and it doesn't concern you or anyone at this hospital besides this girl in front of me," the demon continued. Is that girl the demon was talking to also a Pactmaker.... Hell on Earth.... Sho thought to himself somewhat wary now of the fact that so many demons were coming out as though they had been hiding under the radar this entire time. "If you really want to hear it, talk to that white haired guy. Oh, wait! He left. Well, you'll have to live without nosing into my business." In the half second after this statement was produced, Sho punched the demon straight across the face. The demon seemed to recoil in surprise that he had actually hit him.
"I am not Matsu," Sho answered. He had guessed the white haired man had said something, yet he was going to make his own terms on this.
"My my.... " the other demon that was standing still with the girl surveying the entire procession said aloud.
"This is quiet the drama party," Ohno grinned aloud. "Hello everyone new. My name is Ohno heh... I'm sure we're all going to be great friends."
