Necromancy is the art of raising the dead and reuniting the human soul with its dead body. It was developed originally from a branch within the shamanistic community within their own summoning class. These people, with the special power to summon human spirits as well as Earth spirits, began to question their limits as to why they could summon Earth Spirits into full form and existence yet they couldn't summon souls into new bodies. This question lead this group of shamans to begin to adapt and learn more intricate summoning spells to try and remedy the question that was now becoming more a problem in some people's eyes. They learned how to summon higher spirits that had been placed in the realm of death and bring their bodies back, yet they still lacked the power to do the same with human spirits.... While gaining the ability to summon higher and higher spirits, the summoners found that the greater question was never fully answered.
However, an extremely intelligent shaman, later to be known very famously for his work, broke through the question or rather the problem upon summoning the Grim Reaper himself. Upon his summoning, this death spirit granted the shaman the ability to reunite the human soul with its former body in essence bringing the person back to life. The bodies that were brought to life upon their souls reentering remained in the damaged state that they had been cast in, yet they did not seem to age... They were frozen in time thanks to the power of the Grim Reaper. Some, which had lost most of their bodies due to rot, become bone beings later to be used as soldiers and the like. The Necromancer also found that he could suppress pats of the soul that was reunited with its body in order to make it do his bidding.
Necromancy seemed to flourish suddenly and very violently within the shaman summoners. However, many including non-summoners and summoners alike who believed it wrong to do such a thing to the dead tried to ban the art, yet it was impossible to keep those with the power to summon from summoning and using the Grim Reaper for themselves.
However, the Grim Reaper proved to be a trickster and a wolf in sheep's clothing as he directed the shamans in the ways of bringing back the dead. What he never told any of those he taught was what the recourse of such a summoning did to the heart and soul of the summoner. No. It would come much later in life the shaman who used the art.
It was his heart and his soul. His mind. His being. His feelings. His emotions. Everything became ripped and fractured. With each summoning of human life to be fixed into the soul's previous body, the necromancer was sealing a bit of himself as well into the body that he brought to life. Thoughts... emotions... nothing was spared but was simply torn apart and worked into the next body. In the end of it all, a necromancer would lose the thing considered most dear to him.... his very soul.
Years passed, and a war broke out within the shamans. Those that despised the art that was founded 'by the devil' in their own words began to attack and try to stop those that continued the art. Blood was shed on both sides, yet in the end, the summoners within the shamans all but died out. Those that managed to survive found their bloodlines thinning, and the ability to summon began to become scarce within the community. Many panicked believing that it was the end of summoners and tried to begin seeking outside help from other groups of people in order to restore lost power. However, their group would never fully recover to the glory of summoning they once held. This was the fate of those who wished for power.
At a more stable time, those that had won the war, those that had wished to ban necromancy, began to create a more stabled government in order to protect themselves from such a scare. The Shaman Council was erected to oversee shamanistic 'research' as well as watch over the community and keep the peace. Necromancy was banned for good, and those caught doing it were faced with the Council's decisions. Over time, this was accepted... very much accepted...

Nino crossed his arms and walked through the parade of people that had come out in order to more or less gawk at the fact that he had Matsu had returned. Matsu, being more or less light and at least trying to make a few general light nods at people, sighed outwards after a moment as the two made their way towards the council's building. It was a large building... far larger than any of the others, and it seemed all but obscure in the area itself. After getting through a crowd of people more or less by acting oblivious, Nino finally found that there was some quiet. "You seem... distressed... Nin-kun..." Matsu said aloud as they continued walking.
"And you aren't?" Nino answered back. "Don't lie Matsu." The dark haired man stared at the ground in front of him as he walked. He hated being there... far more than he was willing to admit, yet most would know off the bat there was some level of hate. He wanted to chop down all the trees and burn the area to the ground right then and there... It brought back memories and anger, and suddenly Nino found that his hands were clasped around his gun. Holding it up to himself as he walked, the dark haired man said nothing. Matsu' who had caught sight of the gun forming out of the corner of his eye, said nothing for a bit as well.
"I never said I wasn't," Matsu answered back with a light smile still on his face. "You just have a tenancy to show such things more...." Matsu's face slowly became somber right then and there. "I'm not sure if...." Matsu started but broke off upon hearing footsteps. Nino tensed as well and turned his head to find a cool brown haired boy approaching them. Nino didn't recognize him,, yet Matsu did. "Hello Mitsukana," Matsu greeted lightly. "How are you?" The younger boy seemed surprised at being named, yet he recognized Matsu somewhat.
Mitsukana aka Sukan was the third oldest sibling in Sho Sakurai's family being set behind both Sho and Nami and being of age fifteen. He, like his older brother as well as nearly everyone else in that family aside from Ota who miraculously ended up with black hair and being short out of the bunch, had dark brown hair and stood somewhat taller than others of his age group. Upon finding that those he had been asked to lead to the Council upon their arrival, Sukan sighed outwards a fraction and then forced a smile. "Hello Matsujun, hello Nino," he greeted after a minute. "The Council wanted to speak with you and sen-"
"We're going there now," Nino answered back sharply staring down at the brown haired boy who was a good head shorter than himself. Sukan, who was more or less intimidated yet not willing to admit it under any circumstances, seemed to narrow his eyes and nod.
"Thank you Mitsukana, but we're heading there right now," Matsu chimed in lightly. "If you still want to walk with us, it would be appreciated though..." he smiled lightly again while saying this. I'm not allowed to show irritation here..... Matsu's thoughts twisted in his own mind. The area.... irritates me.....yet... Matsu chewed the inside of his mouth a fraction. And... I know Nino... might be able to feel it anyways.....
Nino said nothing but continued walking. Matsu sighed and followed along with Sukan. Both the white haired man and the brown haired boy chatted lightly on subjects of little relevance, yet it proved to be enough to soothe what would have been a stressful fight. Upon entering the forefront of the Council building, Sukan disappeared just as he had appeared leaving Nino and Matsu to stand at the front of it. Nino stared blankly at it before finally sighing and looking at Matsu. The white haired man sighed to himself a bit as well before pushing open the door.
The main lobby of the Council building appeared more of a long hallway of sorts with doors leading to other places and the like. Both the dark haired man and the white haired man exchanged looks before starting to walk into the halls. Finally turning to the main room that both men had been in at least once before, both pushed open the door and stepped into the room.
The room was rather dark with several table lights being the only real light in the room. It protected faces... as its job was meant to. The entire back wall was built almost like a college classroom's seating area in which there were long rows of desks followed by chairs and each row rose up from the previous one. There were approximately twenty people in the room total, but one could only count by staring into the obscure blackness in the room. The air was cold and smelled of incense that was burning by the back. It was all but completely silent.
"Welcome Nino. Welcome Matsu. We have been expecting you," a female voice called not far off. Nino felt his hand tighten to the point if he looked down, he was sure that they would be white. Forcing himself to turn and look at the face of the woman who had called out, Nino stared for a moment.
"Hey Mom," Nino said after another moment.
Nino stared at the woman who stared back at him from her seat from behind the large table that encircled the room. Neither one seemed to address the others in the room but seemed to just continue staring at each other with dark irritation directed to one from the other and vice versa. There was silence that followed suit. A silence that threatened to kill everyone and everything for half a second before the silence itself was killed.
"Hello Miss Aryanne," Matsu finished with a light smile managing to break the silence once more. "The day is a nice one isn't it?"
"Indeed," the dark haired man answered back leaning back now in her chair. The others in the room let out a sigh to themselves. Nino said nothing but simply lowered his eyes to the ground and waited. Matsu closed his one eye but kept his face directed upwards and a smile worked on it.
"As was stated, we have been expecting you both back when Sho sent us the information," a more elderly yet controlled voice said aloud. Nino didn't say anything but turned his head upwards and stared at the man. "It was a surprise to say the least of things, yet we had always anticipated it in case it actually occurred."
"Get to the point," Nino growled now irritatedly. Matsu, feeling the same emotion, resisted the urge to say Nino's words as well. There was a silence that followed for a moment.
"We have decided that we will restore your original emotions once more in hopes that this will not happen again," the man's voice sighed outwards as he said the last part.
"We debated this before you came and have decided it is for the best," another male voice, sounding much older than the first, answered aloud. A few other voices managed something of the like in agreement. Nino found his eyes moving around the room challengingly at all of them. However, none would say anything out of turn loud enough for him to hear it. Matsu, simply sighed outwards and stared at the ground with his one eye now.
"We only want what is best for you...." a calm voice that seemed to silence the others said aloud. It was an old voice yet seemed to retain a vigor as though it could have come from a very young man. "And this is what we have decided in order to continue what has already been started by you, Nino." It was a direct statement, and Nino's caustic dark eyes found the man who had said it despite the darkness. Nino found his hand trembling again, and once more the gun had formed in his hand. I'll kill all of you for that..... Nino found the familiar rage in him working up... only they could work him up this way.
Matsu was feeling Nino's emotions now and resisting the urge to say anything. Instead, the white haired man continued to stare at the floor. "It's not only his fault," Matsu finally said raising his head. "It's mine too." He looked at the entire group with his one eye right then and there. "Don't go just blaming him."
"Silence Matsujun," a woman's voice said aloud. "We will talk on your eye soon enough." Matsu felt right then and there as though he had been stabbed. I don't want to talk about my eye.... Matsu's eye was sharp on the features of everyone in the room just then as though he, like Nino, was ready to challenge them all right then and there. However, the other man sighed a moment and continued on as though no interruption had been made.
"Sho has also alerted us to other things as well," the man began, and his wording continued on.
