Tired?

~Mari~

I kept glancing at Kaki out of the corner of my eye. Ever since hearing what he cat... what Nani had had to say about him, I couldn’t get it off my mind. I silently cursed in my head, why couldn’t anyone tell me? I could help... there had to be some way I could help, whatever the problem was. “Mari?” my head quickly shot up at the sound of Kaki’s voice.

“Yes sweetie?” I forced a smile onto my face, not wanting to worry him. The smile soon disappeared as I noticed the look on his face. “Kaki? What wrong?” I asked urgently, placing a hand on his arm.

He shook his head, “I don’t feel too good.”

I stood up and touched my forehead to his. “Well you don’t seem to have a fever,” I looked him over. He yawned and I smiled, “I think you’re just tired.”

“Maybe,” he yawned again, leaning his head on the table.

“Urk, no, no. You can’t fall asleep here,” I shook him. When I didn’t get a response, I tried again, “Kaki. C’mon Kaki, wake up!”

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and looked around to see it was Aiba. “Is something wrong?” he asked.

“I can’t wake Kaki up,” I explained, looking back worriedly at the boy, attempting to shake him again.

Aisling smiled, “He’s probably just worn out. From what I’ve heard so far, you’ve had a pretty rough day.”

“Maybe,” I nodded sitting back down. Something still didn’t feel right. “So are we going to order or not?” I shook my head, trying to push the negative thoughts to the back of my mind. Now wasn’t the time to worry.

Graaaaaaaaaaaaah! My attempt at catching up DX
Kaki is not allowed to be woken, ok? Or rather, he will not be able to be woken.
