Visions

~Elle’s POV~
Ame offered to allow me to spend the night with her. A girl’s night. That sounded great. I didn’t have many friends since moving here and staying with Emiko. Kara had accepted me and had seemed to understand me, but she was just an innocent human caught in the crossfire of all this demon nonsense.

But Ame was different. She wasn’t all human, like me. We were both different, and that comforted me. Emiko was different sure, but she never would have the patience to deal with me when she had been dealing with the paranormal for so long. It was good to have someone to really talk to. Sure, Ame came off as a hard-ass, but she was my trainer and needed to be hard on me.

Watching some sappy soap opera, I smiled, loving the normalcy of what we were doing. I hadn’t had a normal day since I had gotten here, but this was as close as I was going to get. I couldn’t look back now, what was done was done. My old life was done, modeling wasn’t going to be happening for me anymore. The fame, glory, and popularity was all a distant memory, almost a different person.

Closing my eyes, I found I was more tired than I had thought. I fell asleep before the food, which Ame had ordered up earlier, even got to the door.

Spirits. There were a lot of them. Too many to count. All were young students, seemed to have been in high school. Turning, I frowned as I found I was caught up in the middle of them. We were running. Running from a woman, who had a male companion. They were walking along the hallway, as if looking for something.

Stopping, I walked closer to them. A few student ghosts did the same. One male questioned her, and she replied that she was sending them all back to where they were supposed to be. With her staff, and a few words, the kids were being exorcized. Shielding my eyes from the blinding light, I found I was the only one left from the kids, though the woman, whom I recognized as the one from earlier, couldn‘t see me. I couldn’t quite place her name, though.

I was being pulled back, I could feel it. As I was being brought back, I saw there were other people there.

“Elle!” Ame was shaking me when I opened my eyes.

“What?” I asked, holding my head and sitting forward. Groaning, I stared at the floor until the dizziness went away. Standing up, I needed to pace, to figure out what I had just seen.

“I think I should be asking that,” Ame retorted. “You gave me a start, you started flailing your arms.” That was probably from me fighting to stay there, to see more.

“I just had a vision,” I replied. “I saw the school building where I met up with everyone, and it would seem this whole thing started.” I closed my eyes, recalling everything I could. “That woman from earlier, the priestess was there. She was exercising the ghosts. There were a few other people there as well, all seeming to be working on getting rid of the ghosts. Why is everyone all gathering there? I also heard Aisling’s thoughts about wondering if Ryuu and Emiko going there as well.”

Ame nodded, apparently lost in thought.

“I wonder what the big deal with that school is. I mean, we never did finish the job there. Maybe, the vision is saying we need to finish it?” I suggested.

Continue?
I didn’t have time to post Emiko’s POV, so clue, if you want to just continue, that would be great! I’ll be moving into my dorm in a couple of weeks, so I’ll be able to post more regularly then!
