Ryuu's father stood up. “Tomorrow morning I want you back in my realm so I can seal that.” He ordered. “I’ll let you two get back to your making out session now.” He smirked.
If my face wasn't completely beat red from getting interrupted by Ryuu's father (his father!), it was now too red for words. I just sat next to Ryuu, my face down, the mood between us now completely gone.
“DAD!” Ryuu shouted as his face paralleled mine.
“See ya.” He smiled and disappeared.
“Of course he pops in at the wrong time all the time.” Ryuu muttered laying back down in the grass.
I layed down next to him, my face going back to its normal shade. Smiling, I snuggled up close to him, my head resting on his shoulder, his arm snaking its way around my shoulders. My hand fell on his chest as I closed my eyes. I wished, if only for the moment, time could stand still and we could always be this happy.
My mind wandered to the mark on Ryuu's forehead. So, any of the demon lords could control him from now till tomorrow when his father sealed it. How was I supposed to stop the demon lords from controlling him, should it happen? I sighed and looked up at the clouds.
"What's wrong?" Ryuu asked me. He always knew when something was bothering me. It was kind weird in a way.
I voiced my concern and all Ryuu could really do was hug me tight. I kissed his cheek and closed my eyes, relishing being this close to Ryuu.
