“Ryuu are you alright?” I questioned after watching him for a bit. He was lost in thought, and he looked slightly worried about something. Was it the mark? Oh, I hoped not!
“Yea I’m fine, why do you ask?” Ryuu replied looking over at me finally.
“No something’s wrong, is the mark acting up?” I asked him, about to reach up and brush his bangs away so I could get a better look at it.
Ryuu shook his head, stopping me. "I guess I’m just tired still but we should get going on sending these spirits on. The last thing I want to see is any of the demon lord’s getting stronger.” he told me.
“You have a good point.” I sighed. We couldn't afford to let the demon lords get any stronger. Otherwise, we'd be screwed.
“Hey one more thing before we start.” he said.
“What?” I asked right as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him then kissed me. I was a little taken aback, but I kissed him back fervently. My hands worked their way up to his face as I melted into him. Ryuu was literally my everything. As corny as that sounded, it was true.
“I love you Em.” he whispered.
I smiled into his lips. "Forever and Always and Day."
