Ryuu and I made our way back to the house, and I sensed more the saw something fly by us. I turned behind me, but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I turned to Ryuu, who looked as baffled as I did. "Did you sense that, too?" I asked him, just to make sure I wasn't crazy and losing it. In this profession, it was bound to happen sometime, just not yet.
He nodded his head, glancing up at the house before us. "Yeah." From the outside, the house seemed perfectly fine, as if nothing was wrong, but there was an aura about it now, an energy flowing out of it that had me in a slight panic at what had happened.
"Let's go see what's up in the house. It feels as though something's off," I replied taking the lead into the house, Ryuu right behind me.
I walked into the house and found everyone sort of wide eyed and confused. It was like something big had happened in the few minutes that we were gone. I hurried over to Aisling, who was sitting with Puck.
"What happened?" I asked her. I noticed that Ariana and Christian were both not in the room. Not here.
"Where are Ariana and Christian?" Ryuu asked, also looking around. He could sense that something was amiss as well. Though, neither of us could place why, and Aisling was taking her time answering us.
