It felt strange being in Ryuu’s shower. I mean, I had, like, just met everyone. Why the angel conversation affected me so greatly, I had no idea. And this alternate dimension thing was really wierding me out. I knew I was the new one, always kinda have been, and I guess that’ll never change. Oh well. I got out of the shower and heard crying. I was tempted to go down and see what was wrong, but I felt like that really wasn’t any of my business. I got dressed and walked out. I avoided where Em, Ryuu, and Kuro were, and slipped by them and went back outside. I saw the kid that I didn’t recognize. “You must be Brant.” I walked over to him. He blinked at me. “I’m Rina.” I introduced myself. He nodded. “So uh…where did you come from?” I asked. He didn’t answer. “You know, you can talk to me.” He just tilted his head. I blinked. “I’m not really that, intimidating am I?” I asked, confused. He started laughing. “Hey! Now I know I’m not scary, but I’m not funny looking!” I defended.
“Sorry.” He said.
“BRANT SPEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Puck screamed and everyone gasped that was outside.
“Huh?” I questioned. Puck came over and took Brant’s hands and twirled around with him as he bounced merrily.
“Hahaha I don’t have to translate anymore!” He said in a singsong voice.
“Y-You mean, he’s a mute?” I asked.
“Yeah…you could say that.” Puck said.
“So, how do you translate of he doesn’t speak?” I asked very confused.
“Well, we have this little twin telepathy thing goin on, right Brant?” Puck asked. Brant blinked and then nodded.
“Oh, so are you guys, related?”
“Yeah kinda.” Puck continued.
“Oh it’s ok, you don’t have to explain anything, I know family relations can get very tricky!” I laughed.
“Yeah, you can say that!” Puck laughed again. “So Brant, talk again!” He asked. Brant shook his head. “Please?” Again, a shake of the head. “WHY NOT?!?!” Puck whined. Brant smiled and shook his head. “Aisling, make him talk now!” Puck stomped. Aisling just laughed.
