When Puck and I got back to the house, the demon man, Christian, was rounding everyone up and taking us inside the house. “So, we’re leaving.” I said, looking out the window, trying to soak up every last drop of this place as I could.
“Yeah! And hopefully we will be able to get back to our normal realm this time. Just as long as they don’t screw up.” I chuckled a little.
“If they do, then, I guess it would just be another adventure.” I said quietly.
“Yeah, I guess so…” Puck muttered.
“But, what’ll happen when we do get back home? What do I tell my mother? And father too if he is home?” I asked.
“Um, you were, at a party?” Puck suggested, putting his arm around my shoulder. I blushed a little.
“No, they would kill me.” I smiled. “Especially if I said I was in the company of a mischievous boy!” I chuckled. I saw Brant come closer to us, and look out the window as well. I knew he didn’t talk, but I spoke to him anyways. “Hello Brant, how are you?” I asked. He nodded at me and smiled a little. “That’s good.” I smiled back. He looked at Puck and then at me, and then back at Puck. I blushed more, since I was standing next to him with his brother’s arm wrapped around my shoulders. I saw Puck look at Brant, and give him a funny look.
“N-No Brant, I-I don’t really…um… ” Puck spoke out, and then stuttered. I looked over and saw Brant smile at Puck and then back up. “Don’t listen to his nonsense…” Puck said to me.
“But, Brant didn’t say anything out loud.” I blinked.
“Oh, yeah.” Puck shook his head. I thought maybe he was embarrassed. The house jolted up, like something had wrenched it up off its foundation. I turned into Puck, afraid I was going to fall over. Suddenly, I didn’t have a good feeling about this anymore. We backed away from the windows, just to be safe.
“P-Puck?” I asked.
“Yeah?”
“Something feels wrong…” I said.
“Wrong?” He questioned.
“I’m, scared.” I admitted. He hugged me and laughed a little.
“You’ll be fine! Besides, I’ve got you!” And right as he said that, the house moved forward with incredible power and energy, so much so, that I passed out.
