we have to die?

-Ryuu-

I helped Emiko up off the ground. I was interested to see what new abilities that have been hidden inside everyone and just how this training is going to work.

“Just how are we going to do this training?” Puck questioned putting his hands in his pockets.

“Everyone is going to be going pretty much through the same training. I will let you know this, if you do not give this training all you have, you will die. If you do not think quick on your feet you better learn last or you will die. Don’t try to protect the one’s you care about, this training is meant to push all of you to your limits and for you to over come them. So I will say it again, don’t try to protect the one’s you care about or you will die.” My father told us.

“But, it sounds like no matter what we do, we’re going to die, or be on the brink of death, and if we die there is no coming back.” Kuro mentioned.

I thought about what my father said and then it clicked, “We’re…supposed to die…aren’t we?” I asked my father and I heard a couple of people from behind me gasp. “We have to push ourselves to our breaking point and die to unlock those hidden abilities that are inside of us.” I said stepping towards my father and away from everyone.

My father took a few steps towards me and then I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I coughed and felt a warm, thick liquid running out of the corner of my mouth.

“D-Dad…” I coughed out clutching his wrist as he pulled his hand out of my chest.

“Sorry son, but this is how you have to start this training. You have been through training with a demon lord before so I needed to get you down to the same level as everyone else.” He told me.

I heard a door open behind me and I looked to see that a door appeared out of nowhere and my father kicked me in.

“RYUU!” I heard Emiko scream before the door shut as I fell into the darkness.

I know that it’s short but I wanted to let everyone be able to get his or her posts in as well. I hope that you like it.
