Emiko instantly went after Sai with her spirit gun and I could tell that she was going to get frustrated after Sai had blocked her first couple of shots at him. My father wouldn’t have servants that went down so easily. Especially with a spirit gun that wasn’t very developed.
“Don’t get distracted now. Remember your lives are at stake here.” Kai said as I turned to him and I just managed to materialize a katana to block his attack.
“I know. My father wouldn’t put us up against weak opponents. You two are his second and third seats if I’m not mistaken.” I answered.
“Oh so you do remember us very good, even after only seeing us for a short period of time.” He pushed harder against my katana with his and I slid back a bit. He looked down at my feet and then back up to look into my eyes, “Looks like I’m going to have to get you back into shape then.” He smirked at me.
I materialized another katana in my free hand and swung at him. “Come on now Kai, I may have been a sleep for two years but I’m not that far out of shape.” I laughed and went after him.
Our blades collided again and a swung again with my second katana. He put up his arm and I was sure that I was going to cut his arm but my blade was stopped by and arm guard. “You’ll have to be faster then that Ryuu if you want to get close to hurting me.” Kai mentioned.
“I know that.” I answered through my teeth trying to hold my own against him was going to be tough. He had two more years of training while I was practically in a coma.
He was right though I have lost my touch. I still had the control over my spirit energy but I’m out of touch with my strength and timing. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is why my father put us up against these two first. If we don’t get our timing down we really will die.
“Come now don’t give me that face. I know that you’re stronger then that. Even if I have to I’m going to keep killing you until you get your strength back.” Kai said knocking my sword away.
Before I could rebalanced myself and go at him he stabbed me in the abdomen. I started coughing up blood instantly and I pushed off of his blade and staggered back.
“See you are weak Ryuu.” Kai stated.
“Damn it.” I muttered holding the wound with one hand and coughing up blood.
“Ryuu!” I heard Emiko shout. I looked over at her to see her running towards me.
“Wrong move girl.” Sai stated as I watched him change his staff into a gun and pull the trigger.
I pushed her out of the way and took the bullet to my left lung. This was going to be a long fight.

I hope that this is alright. I’m planning on making a post for Kuro soon too. I just had an idea for Ryuu so I wanted to get it typed out before doing anything else.
