When I found this image (below), I was so happy because its one rare Saiyuki Reload x Saiyuki Gaiden pic. I extracted Goku out of it because he looks very manly here ♥
Doing the extraction is a bit challenging (the hair is a bit messy) because the image is a photograph. Its hard for me to see the details. The photo is a shot of Saiyuki Festa '09 pamphlet and the latest artbook Salty Dog VI.
Despite the hard extraction. I found inspiration while listening to "No Other" by Super Junior and "Runaway" (Live from Owl City Manila concert) by Krissy and Ericka. And thus, I decided to make things out of the songs.
NO OTHER by Super Junior
This song got me hooked to SuJU again! Its quite addicting and its got beautiful lyrics. When I was looking at my extraction, its like Goku's actually giving his flowers to me!!! (Why am I so ambitious?)
RUNAWAY by Krissy and Ericka
This is originally sung by The Corrs.
Somehow, I prefer Krissy and Ericka's version. I guess I felt the teen-love charm of their voices. I personally like how the song ends (the chorus part). Krissy and Ericka have 3 versions (though the last 2 are really just live performances) of this. Same song, same lyrics, same tune. But the ending part differs in my perspective.
The main version. The inspiration of my sakura memories (prototype). The ending gives a cheerful atmosphere. It made me imagine a scenario where two persons realized their feelings for each other (more like "first love").
An acoustic version that they posted in their YouTube account to announce their album. In this one, the ending part made me imagine a reunion scene. Girl and boy have been separated and the boy made the move to see the girl.
Now this one. Its from the Owl City Manila concert (Krissy and Ericka were the opening act). The guitar chords are much more better than the previous one. And the slow tune gives it a jazz-ballad sound. I didn't have a scenario for this (because I was listening to it while doing the Goku extraction) but it made me reminisce a few memories. So I guess, its more on the reminiscing and nostalgic side of love.
Alright, I guess I should stop imagining things for a while.
