I'm currently making an essay right now...
Earlier in class, our teacher announced that there is an essay writing contest. The essay was about writing your own personal insight on WHAT IS A GOOD GOVERNMENT FOR YOU?
At first, I wasn't interested to join since I'm currently handling some personal matters. But I found out that:
- First Place - PHP 15,000 (USD 339.34)
- Second Place - PHP 10,000 (USD 226.22)
- Third Place - PHP 5,000 (USD 113.11)
The essay should be a minimum of 1300 words and a maximum of 2000 words.
With that set of rewards, who wouldn't help themselves not to join? I'm 1/2 interested with the money (I admit). But also I joined since this is my last year in high school and I've always wanted to give my insights on a certain topic. Though politics isn't really my thing. I currently have 568 words and I'm taking a break just to refresh my brain out. Here is a sample part taken from my introduction only:
"Perfection is merely an impossible thing to achieve. There's no perfect person existing. The same goes for politics and government. Only GOOD is the best word to describe such an almost perfect quality of something. There is a good government existing in many countries. Sadly, the Philippines is not one of them. It's my personal opinion, of course."
My head's kinda blank. Got any suggestions? What is a good government for you?
