anyone want to help a returning member who had no idea how to work this new version of theotaku.com??????? any answers would be helpful!

first. what exactly are these "worlds"? anything? are they usually used for fanfictions or are they ranting/blogging areas?

second. how do i fiddle with my profile/userpage? i want to get an updated avi. and possibly try to post on there again? can i?

third. how do i post new pics? if i'm going to get back on here after an extended absence i'm going to update my gallery as well!

fourth. what are the little icon/avi. pics by the first heading in my new userpage...thingy.... are those subscribers? or friends? or what?
