Hi and welcome to my world! This is the new home for my random posts about life and other stuff. My myOtaku site still exists but I won't be updating there anymore. So, thanks for stopping by and enjoy your stay!

I Live!
Hey everyone! I'm bored and at work and I realized that I haven't posted anything here in forever. I don't actually have a lot to say but I figured I'd at least check in and see how everyone is doing! As for me, school has been keeping me extremely busy but at least it's almost over.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and that I hope everyone is doing well :)
Merry Christmas!
I know I haven't been around much but I wanted to at least stop in and which everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Thanks Everyone!
I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! It means a lot to me ^_^
Back to school... already?
Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted here. In my last string of posts, I actually intended to get back on here for good but then, my computer died for a couple weeks and it took a couple more to get the necessary parts to fix it and in that month or so, I sort of drifted away for the summer. However, now that I'm back in school and on a normal schedule again, I'll be giving it another shot ^_^
I feel like there's about a million things I have to say but I can't for the life of me figure out what they are. So instead, I'll share my wonderful schedule with you. Here's what I'm taking this semester:
Fluid Mechanics
Materials Processing
Probability and Statistics for Engineers
Engineering Design V
Archery
Survey of Dramatic Literature
Yeah... sounds fun, doesn't it? I suppose it could be worse though. Archery should at least be fun.
So, for those of you in school, what are you taking this semester? Anything interesting? And for those of you who have graduated, what are you doing now? Feel free to ignore these questions - I'm just curious.
Since I still can't figure out what else I wanted to say, I'll keep it short tonight. Hopefully, I'll be seeing you all a lot more often though!
Red:
Oh World of Warcraft... are you still playing? Excited for the new expansion if you are? Hehe, either way, nice work (see your own comment if you don't know what I'm talking about)!
Sabrina:
Thanks, and while rather late, I hope you do as well ^_^
Elves:
Hehe, yes, it is nice to get paid to watch movies but even when I'm not, the job's not bad. It usually just involves driving around and occasionally talking to people.
As for the whales, I had actually forgotten about that whole event. It was definitely an interesting sight though.
Oh, and I hear you're doing another panel at NYAF this year. I'll see you there hopefully!
Shadow:
I miss you too! Hopefully, I'll be seeing a lot more of you now though!
Happy Easter!
Hey everyone! Happy Easter!
Today was pretty good. Work was even less busy than usual because of the rain so I ended up watching The Dark Knight at my friend's house while waiting for it to get dark. It's always fun getting paid to watch a movie ^_^
I'm kind of at a loss for words tonight (for no particular reason) so I guess I'll keep this short and get right to comments.
Mimmi:
I haven't actually seen Cable Guy but I did go and look up the scene that was from and I fully appreciate your comment ^_^
Shadow:
Thanks for the words of encouragement :) I wish you luck with the rest of your last yesr!
Health problems you say? I hope everything is alright though I'm going to assume it is based on what you said.
And yeah, it is a shame I didn't get to see the whale in person but that's probably for the best. The Hudson River isn't too clean so the less time it spent there, the better.
red:
I'm the exact opposite. I tend to like melee over ranged/spell. That's why I love my Paladin though - the hybrid class suits me really well.
And while I haven't seen that Seinfeld episode, I do know that nothing living should ever find its way into that river...
Sabrina:
I know the feeling. Math used to be one of my strong points but Differential Equations was not fun...
Elves:
There have been other whales? After you mentioned it, I do vaguely recall it happening before but I can't remember it specifically. I'm assuming it made it out okay though since there was no follow-up and I'm pretty sure the river didn't completely eat it (though I wouldn't put it past that river).
As for Medieval Times, we had a great time. It's always a fun night though no trip there will ever quite live up to one I went to back in 2006. I actually found my myOtaku post referencing that night which you can find here if you're interested.
