KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR

This is just a poem dedicated to children who are lost out there; who've been rejected or abandonded. It's for the runaways and for the children out there on the streets who have passed on. It just simply says they are around us they dwell within our spaces but only at night. I hope those who read this understands it and I hope you also enjoy it. I love it a lot and I just had to post it for all to see and just feel what I felt for those kids out there in the world who are all alone.

THE KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
LIVE ON THROUGH THE NIGHT
THEY CALL
THEY DON'T CRY
HEARING THE ICE BITE
THEY WALK
THEY DON'T CRAWL
STAND TALL
THEY DON'T SCARE
THEY FALL
THEY DON'T CHANGE
FEEL SILENCE NOT PAIN
THEY KEEP THE WITCHING HOUR
CONTAINING ALL ITS POWER
THEY LIVE ON
THROUGH THE NIGHT
ONLY SEEING THEIR EYES
THEY BLEED THE HOUR DRY
FOREVER ALL IN SPITE
THEY ARE THE UNTAMED
THEY ARE THE UNMANAGED
HEAR GHOST WHISPERS SINGING
THEIR SAD LULLABY
FOREVER INDEBTED HERE
THEY'LL NEVER DISAPPEAR

KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR

THEY FALL DOWN
BUT NO HEARS THEIR TEARS
CALLING OUT
ATTENTION
IN THE SHADOWS THEY LIVE

FIND ME IN THE BLACKEST RIVER
COVER MY EYES
AND SING THE WITCHING HOUR LULLABY

KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
FORSAKEN IN THIS LIFE
THEY FEEL BUT NOT FELT
FOR THEY ARE COLD AS ICE
ABANDONED IN TIME
KIDS OF THE SOLEMN HOUR
A STOLEN MIND
THEIR SOULS CAN'T REACH
THE OTHER SIDE

THEY ARE NUMB
BUT STILL YOU FEEL
THEIR SHALLOW BREATHS
A REMINDER THAT
ONE DAY THEY WILL
LIVE AGAIN

WILL YOU WAKE THEM
TO HEAR THEIR LAST WORDS SPOKEN
WILL YOU FOLLOW THEM
TO THEIR WORLD THAT'S BROKEN

KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
THEY FALL
THEY FALL
KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
THEY CALL
THEY CALL
THE KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR

THE KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
CRAWLING THROUGH THIS LIFE
THEY PLAY INTO THE NIGHT
BELIEVE THEM IN THEIR SIGHT
THEY TOUCH WITHOUT FEELING
THEIR HEARTS NO LONGER REELING
THEY HOLD THE UNSTEADY
THEY WALK AMONGST US ALL
A FEELING THEY ARE READY
TO COME AND GREET THE WORLD
ONCE MORE

THE KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
THEY FALL
THEY FALL
THE KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR
THEY CALL
THEY CALL
THE KIDS OF THE WITCHING HOUR

End
