CLOVER ISLAND: Back Home Safe...For Now
It has been a few days since the attack on Clover and the Heavens as the four friends gather on the dark steps of the Pomi Castle. Things were finally getting back to normal after Baarda had been wounded and Igara’s soul was destroyed completely. The four friends stare out over the wreckage in the courtyard below. The only good thing about looking out over the courtyard was knowing that each of their fountains was back to normal. They would of course need to make repairs to their damaged island home, but in the meantime they would be content with knowing that each of them were safe now. Baarda wasn’t coming back for a long time and they could take pleasure in knowing this…at least for a little while. Fazil is sitting back with his arms behind his head, Casee rests her hands on her knees looking out at Sala’s statue, Bara and Yuki are lying on their wings in the air kicking each other. The Heavens was sealed off from Arcantha, so everything was calm now.
Casee suddenly exclaiming:
I can’t believe we went through all of that and here we are still alive. And I’m sorry Bara that you went through all of that; the struggle between you and Baarda really took a lot out of you.
Bara:
Yeah, I’m just glad that it’s over.
Yuki:
For now. Baarda isn’t dead yet. We can’t fully get rid of him until all four Clans are restored to power and here on Clover together. Right now we’re a head clan short guys. We need to find the head to the Nameth clan so we can finally bring peace to this place.
Casee:
That’s going to prove difficult. Right now we have to set things right with just us three. We have those that need to be punished now working in the Wares Moss House. We’ve got our work cut out for us. Besides how can we find the Nameth heir?
Fazil:
We’re going to have to use our shadow forms. Are animal forms aren’t strong enough yet. Don’t worry guys we’ll find the heir to the last clan. Right now this is where we belong…
The three of them shake their heads in agreement to Fazil’s last words. They truly were right where they needed to be; where they belonged…

300 years later
Jaylin was tired of sitting in the sun watching his sister and brother run around playing ball. It was hot out and he was ready to return home and get a nice, cold glass of water. Besides their parents would be arriving from Arcantha soon back to Blithe from their second honeymoon. Rylee suddenly comes up and plops down beside his brother. Aarie walks over and sits on the opposite side of Jaylin staring out over the field behind their house. Blithe was quite different from Arcantha. For starters it was just one island world with only 1200 inhabitants made of merchants and small town businesses. There were many small villages on Blithe, but they were just that—small. Blithe became a peaceful place after the war and continued to be this way with very few wrong doings. Jaylin Nameth was truly happy about this, but even the smooth sailing of a small world could get boring. But Jaylin and his siblings dared not complain. They should be grateful for growing up in a world where there was peace and calm stable waters flowing, land to walk freely, and friends and family who loved and cared for each other deeply. It was nothing like Arcantha, which became such a dark place over the last three hundred years. No, Blithe was a great place for children to live upon and they should be grateful for it. by this time Jaylin was holding a hand over his forehead covered in beads of sweat wondering when if his younger sister and brother were ready to head home.
Jaylin:
Guys are you ready to head home it’s getting late and it’s very hot out here.
Aarie:
Yeah I am ready to leave playing ball is a bit boring now. Besides I’m hungry.
Rylee:
Yeah let’s head out. Mom and dad should be home soon. You know how they worry.
The three of them get up and leave the field of golden swirls and sweet smelling purple flowers. They walk the ten minutes between their home and the field and land at their front door. As they walk up Jaylin notices something is off. The front door is slightly off it’s hinges and there are papers strewen on the front porch. Knowing how tidy their parents were the three of them were automatically on alert.
Aarie feeling scared:
What’s going on here?! Why is our door like this?
Rylee:
I don’t know should we go inside and check it out?
Jaylin:
I’m not sure, but we don’t have a choice we need to check and see if mom and dad are in there. What if they are hurt?
Aarie gulping loudly:
Fine then let’s get this over with. Jaylin you go first.
They cautiously, with Jaylin taking the lead, walk through their house and find it in ruins. Aarie immediately begins to cry and Rylee stares at the wreckage of their home with his mouth wide open. Jaylin decides to walk around to find any clues of who could’ve destroyed their home on such a nice world in a nice town such as theirs. As he walks around he sees a note stuck to the far right wall. He grabs it angrily and stares at it with mixed emotions.
Aarie walking up behind him:
What does it say?
Jaylin jumping a little at the sound of her voice:
It says “Do you really know your own parents? Can you really trust them? Are they really who they say they are? Don’t you think that liars should be punished?”
Aarie:
Wait what?!! What have they lied about? Who took them? Why should they be punished and what for?!!!
Rylee staring at the note:
It’s signed RUO. Whoever they are they have mom and dad. What are we going to do they might be very dangerous. Who knows what our parents have gotten themselves into while on “vacation”. Something is off here.
Jaylin:
Ry that is true, and for some time they have been cautious about what they say around us. I’ve noticed this for quite some a while, but—well…I don’t know.
Rylee:
I say we go and find them and find out what is going on.
Aarie:
No we need to go to the police and tell them what happened.
Rylee:
What good are they in a situation like this? We’ve never had this happen here since the end of the war with Arcantha. They are clueless to this type of thing. No, we need to go and find them ourselves.
Jaylin:
Ry is right Aarie, the police can only do so much and even then they’re going to come up empty handed and just toss it to the side. We need to go and find out where they are and get them back.
Aaerie:
You guys don’t get it do you? We’re just children! What in the world can we do?! These people came into our home in the middle of the day, wrecked it, and took our parents away from us without even so much as a sorry and you guys want to go off on a wild goose chase and get yourselves killed!
Jaylin:
Aarie we don’t have a choice here. Besides we can do a great deal more than the patrolmen can. Not to mention there’s something that these people or this person with this signiture who knows something that we don’t, so we need to go and find them; get some answers. Are we all in agreement here?
Rylee:
You know I’m in. Aarie what about you?
Aarie reluctantly:
Fine I’m in. only because I don’t want to be left alone.
Jaylin:
Well then guys I believe it’s time we found whoever this is and get our parents back. We leave at dusk…
