For those of you who are unaware, astronomers are adding a thirteenth sign to the Astrological Zodiac. Duo encouraged me to post my rant on the matter, but frankly I don't remember anything I said. I should have just done it while were talking, but what's done is done, and I have this to say:
You are still the sign you were born with. According to Examiner.com, "While the Earth has shifted over time, it was never shifted enough for Ophiuchus to be recognized as being on the direct path. Therefore, your sign will still be Pisces, if you were a Pisces before this year. However, if you were born after 2009, when Ophiuchus was officially on the direct path, the New Zodiac Dates will apply to you! So, your babies could be little Ophiuchus'!"
Leos are still Leos, and my sign is still a word I can pronounce. This makes me very happy.
I personally do not pay much attention to my astrological sign, except for the reports I get from Astrolis (http://astrology.astrolis.com/), which take into account the hour and minute of my birth, and tend to be rather accurate on a general basis (the daily reports tend to be rather blah). I tend to pay more attention to my Chinese sign.

On a completely different note: There is something deeply horrifying about Jay Chou singing in Country style, or anything remotely Country styled. I don't listen to Country, but I don't mind it. It just isn't what I expect to hear when I think Jay Chou. I'm glad he's having fun. Good for him. He does it well. It's just disturbing. On the other hand, I don't listen to Hip Hop, and I LOVE the way he does Hip Hop.
