I am looking for an alternative way of making cash, because the job market in this MICROTOWN is terrible. Because apparently I now have a reputation for my ability to cook, clean, and babysit. ... "Well, I studied art. Also graphic art and art history." "Art? Oh, wow, I can't even draw a straight line." I hate this answer. It's a subtle flattery that means, "Oh, wow, that is beyond my understanding." And I always just tell people that you don't have to draw well to be an artist. The reason I hate that answer, though, is because it reminds me that I am cut off from my peers, and also serves to tell me nothing constructive when I'm fishing around for job ideas.
08:30 ... I love this movie. I like it more now than I did as a kid. It was too happy-sappy in a lot of ways for my tastes. And I empathize with it just a little, now. I could really use a genie to conjure me up a couple of things. Not even just to totally fix my situation, but just to fix a couple of things so I can manage my situation.
