Mother nature:she is not a sheath. She is a quiver
~Gary Snyder~
This basicly says that mother nature is not like a sheath, which holds only one sword. Mother nature is like a quiver, which holds many arrows meaning Mother nature is very diverse and varied. Todays poems are rooted in the elements. More specificly, earth, fire, and water. Enjoy.
Green
beautiful, silent
an angel of the woods
black, scared, broken
blind, desolate
ash
Burn
Rain of blood, hail of fire
Inferno burneth,
like one thousand sinful corpses
Winter
Freezing freezing in the ice
all is frozen, all is white
the full moon blooms crisp
