You cant spend your life wondering about what if, cause if you were to die tomorrow you'd never even live
~anonymous~
There are people that go throughout life always saying what if. What if i go to that party, the cops might show and it'll be on my record. What if i hang out with this person, they might be a "bad" kid. What if what if what if. It gets in the way of living. The party might be where you meet your first love, find out you never want to do drugs again, or some other good thing that what if might have stopped. (this has nothing to do with the poems by the way)
Drown
Cant see through the gloom.
cant breethe in this room.
cant shake this feeling of doom.
its overwhelming how the tide
comes rushing in.
sweeping us all away,
drowning the day.
look through my eyes.
we all die,
drowned in this sea
of hypocracy
Finite
Done with this world of lies.
Done living in disguise.
Tired of the rage and pain.
Tired fo feeling insane.
All these years chained inside.
So long, living a lie.
Perhaps this lie has become fact.
If so i'd rather die.
Pressure
Everyday its all the same.
concealing my rage and pain.
still you would just turn away.
its just another hopeless day.
they'll take a few steps closer,
then remember their composure.
they dont want their rep shredded,
they just couldnt fucking bear it.
trying to avoid his eyes,
shamed by his surprise.
Unable to explain,
so they leave him.
Broken. Slain.
