Arien
"Come on Arien and Loko," called James, "I wanna show you around the woods!"
My bells rang a soothing tone as I ran to him. "Vee!" I said excitedly to him as his Poochyena, Loko, jumped into his arms.
Loko had become very jealous of me because of my unique fur coloring and James thinking about officially becoming a pokemon trainer with just Loko and me. I was never really aware of this though... At least until today.
"It's alomst time for me to become a great trainer! I need to prove myself," James said dreamily.
Loko looked at me and growled, "You better not screw this up for me kid, I've protected James all my life and I'm not going to let some furry puffball like you be his main pokemon."
"I don't need that though... All I do is just take naps and play, so I don't get why you're saying that Loko," I tilted my head to him.
"Just don't butt in," he barked.
James looked back at Loko and his attitude changed completely as he licked James's face. James laughed. Okay guys, I just want to test you, so you go out there and try to defeat a pokemon... Not kill it though. Just deal enough damage to where it runs. Loko nodded in response... Loko however wasn't going to do that though.
Last time I saw him battle a buneary he bit into her poor neck and she ended up bleeding to death as he ate into her stomach. That day that I saw that, I literally got sick and frightened. James's family thought one of the more abusive trainers must have done this, but I can't speak. That's probably one of the things that disturbs me about Loko the most... He really is loko.
On James's command, Loko and I both went deep into the woods. The entire time, Loko got a deeper and deeper smile on his face... That disturbed me greatly. Finally, after seeing no pokemon, and reaching a dead end where bushes and trees rounded off the area, I said, "Let's head back... James is probably worried about us."
"Not yet," he said with too much enthusiasm, "Let's play a game."
I blinked, "What's the game?"
"Getting Rid of the Loser," he said and then charged at me with a tackle.
The tackle threw me back and I went through some bushes, rolled down a hill for a long while, and then finally came to rest when I plopped into a small stream. I climbed out of the stream and shook my fur off. "That was fun! Let's do that again Loko!" I said happily and then looked around, "Loko? Where are you?"
I jumped over the stream and tried to climb back up the hill to no avail. "Loko! Help! Loko! Loko!" I kept calling until I gave up.
Sulking, I went back to the stream and looked at my fur and eyes. The bell around my neck jingled all the way. I sat at the river and splashed it continuously, hoping they would be back for me, but to no avail... I would never see James, my brother, my mother or father again and it's all because of my stupid fur!
I splashed the stream in range until my stomach started to growl. I stopped and got up. Even though I was abandoned, I might as well make the best of this, maybe something good would happen. My stomach growled again... After I get something to eat.
I left the hill and came over to an oran berry bush. As I picked one of the berries off to eat and regain my strength, I heard a small amount of weak breathing. I turned around to see a shimmering furred pokemon like me, a Vulpix.
I looked at the pokemon in urgency though, her fur was coated in speckles of blood. I ran over and sat the berry beside her. "Hey! Hey! Wake up!"
