Just trying to enjoy some honey….. Then interrupted again.
But I’ll admit she does intrigue me… Just a bit. Just a raggy young minun at first then you see she’s adventurous and well…
Never mind.
She did seem the fighting type though, I could have died trying just to save her--she was quick on her feet and if my razor leaf wasn’t as fast as it was, I’m sure she would have attacked me as well. Then I could have left her… But she seemed a bit off, lonely maybe… I really don’t know why I stayed, but she looked as if she’d never seen another Gijinka before.
After some formalities (and a misunderstanding that I lived in the mansion alone ^^’’) we entered the house still talking for a bit, but she seemed kind of out of it.
Well, I would be too, if I’d been just chased but a bunch of bloody humans.
Everyone looked at us strangely, she asked me why and then I noticed how torn up she looked. “Ano… I didn’t notice this before but… Your clothes…. There… Um… r-ratty…”
Get a friggn’ vocabulary, Cheruu, what the heck is wrong with you today?? Then I saw her face and really hoped I hadn’t just made another enemy.
"Oh...well I heard how you said ratty, I have to say, I'm a little offended, but I'm not the type to beat the hell out of someone just for that." She patted my back and I froze. "Plus, I have to agree..do you have a sewing machine and ALOT of thread? I like the designs on my clothes but I can just make other clothes."
"U-uh, yeah we have all that." I stuttered. Come on, Cheruu. Just because your worst fear is pretty women doesn’t mean you be afraid of her… But more that, a runaway who could SEW? That was new. I didn’t know how to myself.
"Uh, hey what can a girl do to get some food around here?" She laughed a bit.
"Oh, yeah, ummm...it's over in the fridge...over there." I pointed to the fridge. She went and grabbed some various foods and then turned back to me. "Hey can you show me more of the house? Oh-While I'm eating?"
I chuckled a bit at her ever changing moods. "Sure."
I’m sure Lupe wouldn’t mind if I showed her around, at least show her the general area of the woman wing, explaining to Mitsu that she was going to live in one of the many rooms lining the hall. I could give her much of an amazing tour, I’d barely come to this place a few days ago myself. But I tried my best.
“WHOA!” She exclaimed in the middle of me talking about the window me and Chii broke earlier that day.
I froze again. “W-What is it??”
“There’s something moving on your head!”
“Oh…” She nearly gave a heart attack. “That’s BB, she lives up there.”
Mitsu gave me this look, like I was crazy.
“I AM a Cherubi Gijinka after all.” I explained.
She looked at my head again and BB squeaked playfully. Mitsu recoiled.
I chuckled a bit. “She won’t hurt you. She says she likes you.”
Then her mood changed again. My word I wish I could keep up with all the changes, it was making my head hurt. “Heya, BB, I’m Mitsu!” She laughed.
BB squeaked a replay and rocked back a forth.
“What did she say??”
I blushed. You conniving little--- “Nothing. Uhm, you wanted a sewing machine? There’s one in the closet in the foyer, maybe some material. This way…”
She got to work right away, and I marveled at her skill with such an old machine. She was so into her work that I think she barely noticed me and BB there. Working like a maniac, astonish almost done with her shirt, she finally noticed me.
“Hey,”
I nearly jumped. “Yes?”
“Do you always run around shirtless or something??”
I tried not to blush. “I-I use to live on an island where it was impractical to wear more clothing than needed….”
She paused to look at me. “I’ll make you a shirt.”
That took me aback.
“Right after I’m done.”
“W-W-Wha--?”
“You’ll look good in black, just stand there for a sec.” She seemed so calm about it, measuring me real quick, then sat back down and finished up her shirt.
“You really don’t have to--”
“Nah, that’s okay. You saved me after all.” She looked up and grinned. “Besides, it’s funny to see your expressions. You’re a real flustered guy aren’t you?”
A sweat-dropped and mumbled. “Not usually.”
She laughed.
“After this is done, I want to meet some other people.”
“I can help you with that… I guess.”
She laughed again.
What a strange girl.
