why?

I reached for her as the darkness swallowed her. she gave me a defeated smile. "I guess its my turn", she said. The darkness swallowed her up before i got to her. I punched the ground of darkness and put my forehead to the floor. I felt so useless. "I couldnt save her", i muttered. Just then and ice cold feeling consumed my face. I saw a palm over my face covering my mouth. I saw the other hands appear grabbing my shoulder, my hair, my shirt, my arms. Anything grabbable was grabbed. THe slowly pulled me thru the floor. I shouted thru the ice cold hand covering my mouth. I felt myself fall thru the hole. I closed my eyes as the sensation of falling intensified. I felt like i was spinning. I closed my eyes waiting for something to happen. I felt everything stop. I opened my eyes. I was laying on soft grass at the shore of a pond. Hoom leaning against a tree reading something. Me next to her. I looked at the pond and saw Melody swimming. I was speechless. Hoom patted me on the head and i looked up at her. SHe smiled and went back to reading. I looked back to see Melody walking toward me with a towel over her shoulder. SHe seemed happy. It was like nothing happend. She laid down on a beach towel next to me. I couldnt help but reach over and hug her which i did. I didnt want to let her go. She seemed confused but she seemed to like it. I felt Hoom hug us both. I was really happy. We guddled under that tree for several minutes. I didnt open my eyes at all. I didnt want it to end but when i opened my eyes my heart sank. I saw a man standing above us with a machete in his hand. HE smirked and pulled it over his shoulder and with a lightning fast swing he split my heart into without even touching me. Melody and Hoom went limp on top of me. I felt a warm soak into my clothes and to my skin. I rubbed Melodys back and then looked at my hand. Red drips streaming down my arm. The man was go and the sky became clowded. I began to wimper. "why?", i wimpered and pulled they're bodies close to me. I shuttered as i felt they're blood soak into my clothes. I squeezed them tighter and then theyre bodied turned to ash. "NO!!!", i shouted running my hands thru the dust that was left. Throwing off the dust that was on me. I kicked away and from the ash piles trying to make since of what just happend. I looked up and saw Hoom standing there. she was blood soaked and pail like a ghost. Melody appeared next to her pale and blood soaked. "PLEASE!! NO!!!", i screamed. They started running after me. I got ran for the pond and dove in. I looked back after surfacing and saw Hoom standing at the shore watching. Melody was nowhere to be seen. Just then she jumped half way out of the water and pounced on me dragging me under."WHY!?!?", i cried before i went under.
