Background: Maggie used to be a Misdrevous owned by a very young (7 year old) male trainer who lived in Hearthome City. Bounty Hunters were ordered to capture a new pokemon gijinka. They captured both the boy and Maggie into a hideout. Then they took out a Dusk Stone, forcing Maggie to evolve into a Mismagius. Angered, Maggie used Hypnosis on the Hunters. The guys fell asleep while Maggie and her trainer escape. A flash occured, but Maggie did not notice it nor noticed that the flash changed her into a Pokemon Gijinka. When the trainer showed his mother Maggie, the mother freaked out and ran away, taking the young boy with her. Abandonned by the family that used to love her, Maggie ran away crying into a cave outside the city. Her screeches gave nightmares to every human. When she looked at the lake one day, she realized why her trainer ran away. She lived in a cave for a couple of years until she met Faye and found out that she was a gijinka. Maggie might be quiet and scary on the outside, but she's nice and friendly on the inside.

I was thrown back into the mud and i was now just being beaten. I was unconcious for a moment but when the mud pit began close i jumped out. I was cleaned off my heal bell. I got my hair fixes and my clothes back on and then i realized the dance was going to end soon. There was 3 more songs left to play before it ended. Most were tired but a few were dancing one more time. It hit me Melody hasnt danced at all. I walked over to the kitchen door. I peeked in and found her doing dishes. I walked over to her. "M-melody?", i asked. She jumped a bit with a "EEP" escaping her. She was red like a tomato as she looked at me. "Please, grant me th honor of dancing with you just this ounce", i asked her extending my hand. She gazed at me and then took my hand. We walked out of the kitchen to the middle of the dance floor. I put one arm around her and my other hand holding hers. I looked her in the eyes and we began to waltz to the slow music. The lights were dimmed and its was peaceful. We danced for what seemed like an hour and then the lights went back on. We looked at Lux. "thank you all for participating in the First annual Gijinka valetines day ball! were so glad you came and had fun. Please enjoy the rest of your night.", we all clapped as he took a bow reveiling the lump on his head from the beating he got. I smirked at that bulge on his head. I looked back to Melody who seemed to enjoy her first and last dance of the night. I held her hand and we walked back to her room. We went across the bridge to the girls dorm. She opened the door and we walked in. Her room was really nice. The water them remind me of when i was swimming in ponds and lakes. (hon actually likes swimming). "thanks for dancing with me melody. I had a good time.", i said with a smile. she turned to me and gave me a big hug. "thanks for asking me to dance Hon", she said. My face flushed as i hugged her back. "no P-problem", i studerd.

“Evolving is supposed to make you stronger though,” I said after a moment. “Attack and defense power goes up… but it also makes more … trouble than it is worth….” I kept on staring at the floor. It was like I could only look at it and not at Mear. I didn't understand it but then again, I felt nervous talking about the whole subject of evolution. It was hard to describe.... I guess....
“But there is no real way to not evolve.. unless you use an Everstone… and even then… It’s… I don’t know… kind of limiting…” I stated. It was true. Using an Everstone was limiting. Sometimes they would run out of power and then you would evolve the next day or so. It just happened like that, and evolving just came naturally. You really couldn't do anything about it.
I kept staring at the floor, but suddenly hearing Lupe talk about the ball almost being over kind of made me upset. I just... wanted to spend a little bit more time with Mear... So that things wouldn't be completely weird the next time we saw each other... But then again... things just might be because I might evolve by then. I had a strong feeling in my gut that would happen soon.
“It'll be ok,” I told him with a little bit of confidence in me then before. I hoped it would be okay anyways...
I suddenly looked up at Mear and forced myself to stand, even though I was extremely tired and was probably still looking a bit pale. I tried to have a smile on my face as I looked at Mear.
“How about.... just one more dance?” I asked, moving my smile into a full one so that I could try to reassure Mear.
“Are you... sure?” Mear asked, still a little worried and I nodded to him, the smile still sitting upon my face.
“Okay then...” Mear nodded to himself, as if he was agreeing with what he just said and stood up and held out his hand. I took it carefully and he led me onto the dance floor for the last song of the dance.
The song was kind of slow, and I tried to keep up with the pace of it. I kept as calm as I could as I danced with him. For once, I only stumbled a little, and that was it. I smiled at Mear and he gave a reassuring smile back, as if saying that it was okay, thought the name thing about evolution kind of stirred in me.
I didn't really want to change my name. My parents never did, though I know a few of the ghost Pokemon friends I had known long ago had changed their names once they evolved. I didn't want to change my name. I kind of want to keep it the same, so that I can always be reminded of tonight and of my parents... but then the thought 'Mear' came into my head. Would it remind me of Mear too? It made me wonder why I thought that... Maybe because he's part of tonight...
As the song slowly ended, I could of sworn that I felt Gray looking at me, but I ignored the feeling. I just wanted to enjoy tonight. I felt myself smiling once more.

So, this was a formal dance, and they were having a mud fight?! I wouldn't even consider it, even if I wasn't at a formal dance! EW!!! And all for Victoria's Secret gift card?! I could do with out fancy stuff like that... Who noticed that kind of thing, anyway? Finally it was over. The girls were cleaned and redressed with a Heal Bell. I stood with Lee, watching.
"That was... weird, to say the least." I muttered. "Not something you normally see at a formal dance." Not that I would really know... I thought.
The dance seemed to be wrapping up. A few people were left to dance. Most of the girls in the fight looked rather tired. Lupe was giving Lux some kind of lecture... *sweat drop* was it me, or did it seem like he always managed to get himself in trouble?
Anyway, I recognized a few songs, and hummed along. Every once in a while I would munch on a lemon square. There really wasn't much left to do. After a while, I realized I was half leaning on Lee! I stood back up quickly, seeing he probably wasn't in the most comfortable spot (not literally).
"Well, uh, maybe we should get going..." I said. "If we want to save your friends, we'll need a plan, a good nights rest, and a Ghost type pokemon." I said. I actually had a friend in mind. She would probably be around the area by now... As we left, a felt a sensation I hadn't in a while, and gave a small smile. Well, now I wouldn't have to worry about finding her...

As the strange party wound up, I stood up. Haunter had left to meet up with some friends, and I was alone. Well, maybe I should check the coast before barging in... Leaving my body, I walked in spirit through the door... And saw someone I thought I may never see again.
Coming up behind the glameow gijinka, I place a hand on her head. As she smiled, I knew she acknowledged my presence. And judging by the size of it, she had something in mind that had to do with me. Great... Time to see where she was going... So I followed her and the hitmolee gijinka up into one of the rooms...
