I walked into the ball room. the smell of delectable food relaxed me. The music was slow and couples were dancing. I poured me some punch and sat at a table watching people dance by. I spotted my sister dancing with lux. They were burning up the dance floor. They sat down to take a breather and i went in. I reached out my hand,"may i have this dance?",i asked. She reached out and Lux was okay with it. We did some fun dancing while a fast song played but then the lights went dim and a slow dance started. I looked at Hoom and we took each other in an embrace. We danced slowy. We went slow thru the song and even thru the next non-stop.
I felt her grasp the back of my shirt and hold me tight.
"are you ok?", i asked.
“I just wanted to dance like this…” she replied. I rubbed the back of her soft hair loving every second of the dance.
The song ended and we went to get something to eat. I got some soup. Melody out did herself with the soup. I wanted to chug the bole.
Poochy and Badrak made they're way to us and sat down.
"i like your dress poochy", my sister commented.
“yours is pretty too Hoom” She replied.
“You look good Badrak”Hoom said. He gave her a smile and then looked at me.
“This is my brother Hon”, hoom said.
“Interesting…Nice to meet you Hon”, he said to me and we shook hands.
"so hoom where is your date?", poochy asked. hoom looked to the balcony where lux'es sent was coming from
"do you love him?", Badrak asked. we all gave him a WTF look.
soon he had gone to far. i was about to tackle this dude. he had no right to talk to my sister that way. My fist tightened but i left with Hoom. we sat on the couch in the living room. Her head resting on my shoulder.
"stay here, ill be back" she said. I nodded and waited. I thought about that guy. I wanted to go after him but i said it could wait till after the ball.

"Well for right now lets just enjoy the rest of the night with our dates shall we?" Lux said putting me down onto my feet. "I mean the love we have is umm sorta like a love of too really good close friends."
My heart dropped. Maybe through his eyes this may be, but... not through mine. On this night I finally figured out my feelings completely. I indeed loved both Reo-kun and Lux. I had no idea how this came to be. I believe it was okay to love Reo-kun, but Lux? Our love was kind of forbidden. I loved him more than a friend. Lady Cresselia made it clear to both of us how our feeling were for each other. Why say that the love was ONLY friend love? My expression changed into a gloomy expression. But in a second, I changed it. Since this love is forbidden, I guess I'll continue to hide my feelings. For Hoom's sake. For Reo-kun's sake. And I guess for mines as well.
"YEAH! I totally agree with you." She chuckled, swallowing my sadness. "You are like my best friend too so yes it makes sense. That is the perfect kind of love." Yes, best friend love was quite enjoyable to have, but I felt more with Lux. Oh well..
We both then stood there and laughed for a moment. Then there were silence.Out of surprise, Lux bowed down in front of me and extended his hand.
"Lets go back." he said. I took his hand and we both jumped to the balcony together. He put his arm out to me once again.
"May I have this dance Estelle?" he asked me in a gentle manner.
A dance... with me? It was so sudden and unexpected. I smiled and I felt myself blushing, but I didn't care. I no longer want to stop myself from blushing. I quickly grabbed his arm and we walked in.
"Yes." I said leaning into his arm. I placed my hands on his shoulder and he placed his hands on my waist.
"No going low now." I joked.
"I wouldn't even try" he smiled. I caught myself blushing again. We waltz to a slow song. I tried not to place my head on his chest 'cause that would seem too much for people who are having a "friendly" dance.
"Hey Lux?" I whispered.
"Yes, Estelle?"
"What do you mean Lady Cresselia meant by 'our past'" I asked him.
"Don't know. I rather not speak of this right now" he replied. I swallowed my curiosity looked him the eye.
"Yeah. I guess you're right. Talk later. Enjoy the moment a little, right?"
"Exactly" he smiled then spun me. Once the song was over, he bowed and I curtsied.
"Well, we'd better get back to our dates." I told him. He nodded.
"Yeah. It was really nice dancing with you. Lets do this again sometime." he smiled.
"Yes, Yes. That's a deal, best friend" I struggled on those last two words. I then walked to Reo-kun who was eating some choclates that I made earlier.
"I thought dogs weren't allowed to eat chocolate" I joked.
"I guess I'm an exception." he smiled.
