Things were going wonderfully.
Lux and Hoom were fantastic dancers and Estelle and Reo were very good competition, but even the great Chii and Lupe needed a break at some point.
Breathing hard, we simultaneously stopped and looked at each other. Without saying much I let her reach for a chair and sit heavily, her face red.
“Everything all right, darling?” I asked, worried that our dancing was way too much. She looked up and smiled.
"No. I'm just a little tired. Nothing to sweat over." She waved it off as I smiled and reached for her hand.
“Would you like some punch?” I asked.
“That would be nice right now.”
I winked at her and turned with a skip in my step (despite being so warn out). Many of the others were crowded around there as well, probably just as tired from the effort of tangoing as Lupe and I.
I saw Lux there, laughing along with Hoom about something.
“You did wonderfully my friend!” I said and he turned. “And your lovely lady did marvelous as well~” I was about to kiss her hand when he smacked my hand away.
“Hey bud, no funny ideas with my girl!”
I laughed nervously. “Alright alright~! Oh and Lux I cannot thank you enough for suggesting Lupe to me, she’s beautiful, talented, and has a wonderful personality. I’m grateful.”
He smirked, slapping my back. “No problem kid, now hurry up and get back to her, she looks bored over there.”
“Right~” I quickly filled two cups with punch and bowed shortly to them. “I’ll be seeing you.” Before heading back.
I was only a few feet away, smiling like an idiot and loving the pink flush come over her cheeks.
I CANNOT BELIEVE I did what I did D:

I didn’t know it had happened until it had happened. Somehow I’d lost my balance and I felt the adrenaline rush as the cups in my hand went flying, their contents hurling towards the place I was walking to.
Oh HECKS no!
I looked up in time to see that one of the cups had splashed ALL OVER Lupe, soaking into her dress and making her skin shine.
“GAHHH!!” I screamed, my hands flying up. “Lupe! Lupe I’m so sorry! I--”
It was one disaster after another with us. I’d already tried to make amends for the last time I’d done something wrong to her, but now I saw the fire burn in her eyes and her hand make a fist. Oh Arceus above us… I was dead this time.
“CHII!!” She raged.
“Darling it was a complete accident! Let me grab some napkins!”
“RAHH!” People stared as she stood up and wrenched a cup of punch from someone else’s hand and splashed it all over me. “What were you thinking?!”
“I-Uh--Um…!” I felt the punch drip down my face, unable to take it anymore. I’m just not cut out for her, am I? How come everything looks up and suddenly drops down with us?
“Lupe… Lupe I’m sorry--it was an accident! I--” What was I saying? I was so bad at this. “...Excuse me for ruining this night for you.”
She was still fuming but I went back long enough to grab from napkins and try to offer them to her, to which everyone watching had dispersed and the music had resumed.
At first she said nothing and only stared at me, nearly glaring.
I sighed. "How many times must I make it up to you in two days?" I almost laughed a bit at the last words, trying goodheartidly to make her smile. "Maybe I'm just a stupid, klutzy island boy who couldn't make it with mainlander girl like you."
She might have been getting tired of my sweet-talk, but at the same time I really couldn't tell.
At this I tried to wipe off the punch from her face with the napkin I'd brought but she stopped me. "Augh, I'll do it!" She said, and again I wasn't sure if she was still angry or not.
"Hey," I held her shoulders cautioisouly and she looked up at me. "Do you want to talk on the balcony or do you want to dance some more? Whatever you want, darling."
She stared and I held a steady gaze back. How could this relationship be any worse? I'd already embarrassed her three times in two days! Now I wondered if I really was going to survive in this place O.o

Geez this is not what I’d first thought would happen but I guess it did (Poor Chii--Everything turns out so bad for him! But I hope this one turns out right). Didn’t want to go too much into Lupe’s rage attack, it might have gotten really hairy then! D;
If I made Lupe out of line I’ll totally change this and I'm sorry she doesn't talk much (not rly sure what she's feeling)
EDIT! Since I have been informed that everyone has fled to the balcony, I think it best if I changed this XD (I totally forgot everyone was there!)

Ugh... I've been trying to sleep for hours now and everyone at the dance is so loud. At least there was less music to hear in my room because the door was closed. "WOULD EVERYONE KINDLY SHUT THE HELL UP SO I CAN GET SOME DAMN SLEEP?!" I yelled at no one in particular because I knew no one would hear me and I had to deal with this anyway.
I sat up on my bed after that. I wasn't going to get any sleep, so I might as well do something... The trouble is I couldn't leave my room, so what was I going to do without leaving the room? I thought and finally decided, "Tetris"
I pulled out a small game with the word TETRIS above the screen, then started on the first level. I hadn't played the game in a while, but it really was a time-consumer. I sadly wasn't too good at it either.
So an hour passed and I was back on level one... should've figured that since the highest level I've ever gotten on the dang game was level five. I sat the game down for a second. "Ugh! this is so frustrating." and after I said that, I heard a growl.
I blinked and looked down at my stomach. I guess I'm hungry...
In responce to my thought, it growled again. "I guess that's a yes."
I reached into my bag to pull out a snack, but found nothing was in there. My eyes widened and I looked into the bag harder and harder basically turning it inside out but finding none of the snacks that I stored in there previously. "Who came into my ba-" didn't take me hard to think and then I sighed, "Dang it Lupe..."
I guess I had to leave my room to go to the kitchen Ugh... I'll have to walk past the damn ballroom...
I looked at my blue PJs though and smiled. Nothing to worry about. I don't have the right dress like Estelle was telling everyone to wear, so I won't even have to go in... not that if I had the appropriate dress that'd I'd go because I'd be alone either way and be wallowing in self-pity.
I sighed, opened the door, and walked out to go to the kitchen. This'll be quick and then I can go back to my room.

Tango music came onto the floor and it was very amusing to me because I loved dancing though Hoom said she didn't know how to tango.
“That won’t be a problem, I’ll teach you” So I quickly wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close and showed her the steps. But for some odd reason it seemed she knew what she was doing and I heard a slight giggle from her. Obviously she did know how to dance. “Someone cheated here…”
“Couldn’t help it…sorry…” She nervously laughed as she looked to the side. I smiled and gently put two fingers on her chin making her look towards me.
“You just had to ask for it… Hoomy dear!” I grinned.
“Then can I ask for anything?” She mumbled.
"Sure anything..." But before she could say another word I gave her another kiss on her forehead and a quick hug. Then I began to tickle her.
"Oh my god. Ha ha ha stop it Lux!" She laughed.
"Let's turn up the heat Hoom and show these kids how we dance." I grinned. I knew she was at my level of dancing so it began.
Swinging our bodies together and stepping to each step, going under my arms after some movements. I twirled her into me and dipped her and she lifted a leg up and I grabbed it and lifted her over my head and put a hand oh her stomach and she posed and circled around. She truly was amazing and at this time everyone was cheering.
"YEAH HOOM KEEP IT UP!" Screamed Melody.
"Lux you are smoking!!!" Cheered Eva.
"Look at both of them. They are so aswesome." Nyarth said in amazement. Him and Nina watched while a circle formed around Hoom and I.
"I'll kill you if you drop her." Said Hon watching carefully.
I smiled and threw Hoom in the air and caught her and she did a summersault on my chest and span around on the floor looking at me waving her hair in the air. I put my hands threw my hair and got on my knees and spinned towards her and hoped up to a squat coming up on her and she pushed me away but I wrapped my arms around her waist and she put her hands on my shoulders and dipped herself and she pushed between my legs and glided back up with a twist and I held her close, she posed and so did I, and the music ended. We were both panting hard and everyone around us began cheering.
"Hoom you are superb at dancing."I panted I couldn't believe it she was able to through some sharp moves herself and keep up with me.
"You aren't half bad yourself Lux." She replied panting. She took my arm and we went over to the table and got punched. We chit chatted to catch our breaths and Hon walked up to us.
He bowed and extended his arm out to Hoom. "Lux would you mind if I danced with my sister?"
I smirked and lifted my glass. "Ask her? I am cool with it." I gave her a little push.
"Thanks Lux I will be right back." She smiled as they both ran off.
I smiled at her and continued to drink my punch. I looked around at everyone dancing, I couldn't help but chuckle at Nina and Nyarth. Hoom and Hon were enjoying themselves as well. I looked towards the balcony and saw Estelle. I grabbed another cup of punch and walked towards the door and opened it as she watched the stars.
"A Full Moon tonight..." She whispered.
"Why yes it is." I answered behind her looking softly.
She quickly turned to me. "Lux?"

Lupe and I entered the Ballroom. When I walked, I noticed the place was packed. Everyone was here! I noticed Reo-kun was against the wall, hands in his pockets, one foot against the wall, with his head down. Oh dear... I had him waiting. I walked over to him with my head and ears down. The one time I've been ask to a ball and I've blown it.
"Reo-kun..." I said to him. He looked at me then smiled.
"You're Late.." he smiled.
"Go-Gomen nasai..." I frowned. He then took my hand then kissed it.
"You look very beautiful tonight, Estelle." he complimented. I couldn't help but blush. My ears shot up and I had a great smile on my face.
"It's alright. At least you're here. Lets have a great night tonight. Okay?" he said.
"H-Hai!" I agreed. I was so happy that he forgave me. I then hugged him.
"Thank you..." I whispered into his ear. Looking out at the dance floor I saw my little brother and Nina dancing. How cute they were. Then I saw Lupe and her date... Wait. Who is that? I haven't seen or met him before. Come to think of it many new faces were at the Ball. No matter. I'll get to meet them later. Now where was I? ... Oh yes. Lupe and her mystery man took the dance floor. A sudden change of music was played. Tango music! Lupe and her date then started to dance the tango. My eyes narrowed on them.
"So that girl think she can Tango? Heh. I'll show HER what Tango is!" I whispered. I noticed that I was still holding on to Reo-kun.
"What was that, Estelle?" he questioned. I nervously laughed. He wasn't suppose to hear that..
"Hehe... Oh nothing. Would you like to dance with me Reo-kun?" I asked.
"Of course" he accepted. We both then took our place on the dance floor. I gave Lupe that 'You-think-you-can-tango-better-than-me-well-think-again' look and she gave me the 'You're-on-bitch' look. With a smirk on my face, I faced Reo-kun.
"So Reo-kun, do you know how to Tango?" he asked. He placed his hand on his chin.
"Hmmm... I know a little by watching. Could you teach me?"
"Hehe. I'll try. But you try to keep up, ne?"
"I'll try." Reo-kun smiled, took a nearby rose off a table, placed it in his mouth, and place my arms on his shoulders. Then he placed his hands on my waist.
"Oh, quite a fast learner." I said impressed. He winked and we began to dance. The way he danced was too good for a beginner. He knew a lot more than I thought. Our moves we're swift and smooth. We worked well together. Great, actually. I couldn't stop blushing because I was so close to him. He then spun me then picked me up in the air. Afterwards, I kicked my leg straight up ( Yes, Cats are quite flexable ) and did a split while he was holding waist. Next, he lifted me to my feet and dipped me while holding my thy to his waist.
"You moving divinely" I complemented.
"Not as much as you." he replied. Reo-kun then pulled to his chest and we finished in each others arms. My heart raced. My faced was completely red. I looked into his eyes. I never noticed how sparkly they were. The music stopped and we all laughed. Reo-kun then looked confused.
"Estelle... do you have a fever?" he asked. Oh, here we go.
"No not at all!" I covered my face. He then placed his hand on mine and pulled it from my face.
"If you say so... But... Why do you hide you're beautiful face?" he smiled. I couldn't take it anymore! My chest was going to explode!
"AIR! I NEED AIR!" I yelled and ran to the Ballroom balcony door. I opened the door, went on the balcony, and closed the door. It was quite chilly, but my scarf kept me warm. I panted and held my chest.
"Reo-kun... he's just so sweet and kind to me.. But he could be clueless at times..." I panted. I then looked up at the moon and placed my hands on the balcony railing.
And since I love the tango, I'm doing a PGR: Cell Block Tango comic! I need 4 couples one girl and one boy! Please help me out! If you don't know what a Cell Block Tango is then watch this. It's from the play Chicago.
