When the day ends, make sure to put me in darkness.....

The day went by slowly, and soon it was already night. I had done a quick game with Mear, knowing it was pretty awkward since the dance was the next day, and soon, I ended up back in my room, not sleeping and reading the rest of the day and it going through night.

Technically, ghosts don't need sleep, so it was fine for me to stay up all night. It gave me more time to think. The dance was the next day, and I had already finished my book and went onto the next one in the series when it became dawn.

"Today's the most disgusting day of the year. Great," I muttered as I slid off my bed, slid a bookmark into my book, and went outside my room, towel in hand to take another shower. They just always calmed me down.

It was pretty early, and I was avoiding all of the sunlight I could, hiding in the shadows or going on top of the ceiling because the sunlight was everywhere. Why couldn't today just be a gloomy day instead of a sunny one?

Finding no one in the showers, I quickly took mine and once I was done, I hurried back to my room, holding my hair up in one hand and the towel around me in the other.

Once I was back inside my safe haven of darkness, I got dressed in my regular clothes, and just sat on my bed, staring at my dress, and the shoes I had picked out earlier to go with them. I sighed, I also not finding that Gengar around. He must be wanting to leave me alone today with Mear...

With that thought, I blushed, but I shook my head. That was impossible... Like that possible something of me and him as a couple would happen... Yeah, right...

I sighed once more and muttered:

"Today's not going to be the best day of my life, I know that... I'm just going to drown myself in darkness when the day is over..."
