I didn't sleep that well during all of this... I kept having bad dreams. I can't remember what they were about, but I know they were bad.
But then, towards the end of them, a faint song started weaving into my dream. The song was really pretty and it made all the scary stuff in my dream go away. I remember that song! My dad used to sing it to me.... when I still lived in the forest with him and mommy... The song got louder and louder and then I gained full conscience. I kept my eyes closed though.
Wait a minute... where am I? The last thing I remember was sitting in the stands at the Pokemon contest... where I am now it's almost completely quiet, except for the person singing. Anyway, who was it?
I slowly opened my eyes against the bright alabaster (y'all know that's basically a white color, slightly off-white, right?) room... this must be the doctor's office or something.
The singing was coming from the person laying next to me on the hospital bed...Estelle? Ah! Estelle onee-chan! She also came to see me!
She saw I was awake, and she smiled softly and kissed my cheek. "Ototo...." she whispered, and then I could hear her breath level out as she fell asleep.
At this point I remembered about how bad I was feeling earlier... I took a quick health check. I definitely don't feel as hot, and my ears and tail don't hurt as much either. But now I can feel a slight soreness on my left shoulder... Did I get shots or something?
Quietly, 'cuz I didn't want to wake Estelle up, I lifted up my head from the somewhat-hard pillow and surveyed my surroundings. To my right, there were long windows on the wall, covered in open blinds, and I could see outside. From the sun it looked like it might be around mid-afternoon. Lots of pretty trees too, I wonder if that's our forest.
To my left, along the wall were some chairs, and little Nina was seated in one, mouth covered in a surgical mask, her head propped up on the palm of her hand, fast asleep. That's really sweet of her... that she cared enough to wait in here while I slept. I smiled.
My hearing was better too. I heard some footsteps outside the door and then my friends Poochy and Eva came into the room. Oops, they must've heard me, even though I was trying to be quiet...
I could see their faces instantly brighten with smiles as they realized I was awake.
Poochy smiled sadly. "I'm sorry Nyarth, you're contagious and Estelle warned us to not get near you. How're you feeling?"
I was confused. "Wait, what?" I said softly (again, I didn't want to wake up Estelle). "What do I have?"
Eva spoke up. "You have Pokepox, and it's really contagious. Well, not to Estelle, 'cuz she's already had it."
Pokepox?? That can't be good... I've heard of it a little bit, but I never thought I'd catch it. Man, it IS horrible. "I feel a lot better now though, guys. Arigato gozaimasu for taking your time to check on me!" I smiled happily.
"Just go back to sleep, you need rest to get better you know," Poochy said, and she and Eva left the room and quietly shut the door behind them.
I was still feeling exhausted, and Estelle's warmth next to me was enough to make me feel drowsy again. I slowly turned on my side, 'cuz I sleep better on my side, and put my head on the pillow. With a deep, happy sigh, I fell asleep again, sure that I would have no more bad dreams.

Oops! It seems that as I was writing this, Hon and Poochy posted something. Whoever reads this, all of these events happens right after the "Otouto" post, and before the other two. ^^;

Keep in mind, HE doesn't know yet that him and Estelle are siblings. He doesn't think much of the "Ototo" that Estelle said. Normal for him.

I sighed in relief that Nyarth seemed to be OK. Eva left and I thought I should leave too. All the sudden the speakers came on to announce the next match.
"Breloom and Stantler vs Melody and Nina." I sighed. I wasn't sure if I was glad that I didn't have to fight that stupid Stantler or disappointed that I didn't get the change to kick his butt...
I was turning to leave and head back to the stands when I heard Estelle whisper something. "Otouto..." O...What? I scratched my head trying to think of what that mente but nothing came to mind. 'Must just mean get well or something.' I thought and dismissed the thought and headed to find a seat and watch the battle.
I started to laugh to myself. Nina looked so small compared to the others, I hope that she'll do OK in the battle.
It looked like it would be a few more minutes until it really started so I started to let my mind wander. So Estelle, Vixy, Hoom, Lux, Eva, Hon, and now Melody and Nina have gone. And Kat and Vara were supposed to be battling right now too...Sooo that left me with...Lupe? I smiled to myself. Lupe seemed strong enough.

"HON HELP ME!", i heard. i ran as fast as i could. "im coming big sister!", i shouted. I ran out onto the peer. She was thrashing in the water trying to stay above water. "Hon please h-" she went under i grabbed her hand before it went under. I pulled as hard as i could. just then i felt my leg slip. I began to fall. I fell in with a splash. I struggled i didnt know how to swim. I looked down and saw my sister sinking into the deep black ness of the lake. I heard my name being called."hon.....hon.........HON!" i jumped up in a cold sweat. The sounds of the arena around me. I looked around and i saw Melody. she was looking at me in a worried expression. "are you ok?", she asked me. i thought for a second. "yes, dont worry about me, im ok", i replied. "what happend?", i asked. she giggled and said,"not long after we sat down you dozed off. you had your head on my shoulder.", she said. i felt my face turn a bright red. "oh, i-im so sorry", she smiled and said, "dont sweat it".
the next match came over the loud speaker. the announcer shouted"Breloom and Stantler vs Melody and Nina. we both went wide eyed.

"Oh, Eva. I didnt notice you were here. It's nothing. Dont worry, Im fine." I told Eva as she appeared out of no where.
"If you say so. I have to go. Seeya guys later." She said, running off. Poochy followed. I turned around and look towards Nina. Still sleeping. I then walked up to her and pat her on the head. My mind was out of it's state due to the traumatizing news. I looked over to Nyarth. Still sleeping as well. I walked up to his bed and wiped the hair off his forehead.
"Otouto..." I said outloud. "Some how I knew... I wasn't alone when it came down to my family from the past. I might have not even known you, but I knew I wasn't alone.." I laid right next to my young brother.
"Brother. Oh dear brother... My sweet younger brohter. I found you. We finally meet." I whispered into his ear. I held his hand I began to sing the little tune again as I fell asleep.
"Hush little baby, it's okay.

Nyarth's eyes began to open. I smiled. I kissed him on the cheek.
"Otouto..." I whispered and drifted into dream land.

Otouto: Japanese for Younger Brother
"Hey Eva, could you go get me a box of pocky from the vending machine down the hall?" asked Vixy as she handed me some money.
"Sure Vixy! Be right back!" I said happily as I ran off.
I was a bit down the hall when I saw poochy guarding a door. "Whats wrong Poochy?" I asked.
"O, your that eevee gijinka. Eva right? I havent met you much. Well Nyrath caught pokepox and im guarding. The doctor just went in so I hope he'll be fine." said Poochy looking really worried.
"I'm sure he will. He is a strong willed person, and I'm sure that he has Nina by his side." I said.
"Yes, but how did you know that Nina was in there?" asked Poochy.
"Just a hunch. Cute couple they make." I said with a giggle.
"Huh, I guess that could happen." said Poochy.
At that moment a nintales gijinka came out. "Take care and call me if anything happens." he said.
"Thank you Mr. Kyuu." said Estelle.
"Estelle! Is Nyrath ok?" asked Poochy. Estelle didnt respond. She looked destracted as if something was on her mind. "Estelle!" shouted Poochy.
"Huh? O, Poochy. Nyrath will be fine as long as he takes his medician and uses his ointment." said Estelle.
"Ok." said Poochy happily.
"Are you ok Estelle? You seem destracted. What happened in there?" I asked.
"O Eva. I didnt notice you were here. Its nothing. Dont worry Im fine." said Estelle.
"If you say so. I have to go. Seeya guys later." I said as I ran around the courner and got up against the wall so I could eavesdrop on what was happening.
