Melody was feeling like she was atop Mount Everest. Her routine went according to plan, and she hoped she scored high. She wasn't sure how the audience reacted, because she had scuttled off the stage. I hate public performances, she told herself. They always make me look like a nervous wreck.
Almost immediately after her show, she had traded the fancy, high-quality ballroom dress for an outfit of bell-bottom jeans and a bright yellow t-shirt advertising a soda brand. She kept the orange flower in her hair, deciding that she liked how it looked. After stuffing her performance dress into a large canvas bag that she had purchased earlier, she left the changing room and was met with a funny scene.
A Luxray was giving all he had on the stage. A cocky grin here, a giant electric attack there, and a smile to a Houndoom standing on the side. Melody raised an eyebrow and smiled to herself. Reminds me of Sheek...
Then she remembered. She had to deliver the Shinx's message. That was the whole reason she escaped from the Bounty Hunter's base. But... I haven't been around these people long enough to trust them yet... How long will it take for me to feel it's safe to spill the secret? she thought. She decided to go to a more secluded part of the arena to try and figure out how she was going to work her situation out. Before she left, though, she witnessed the Luxray go up to the Houndoom he had grinned at, and swiftly get knocked down by a Houndor - probably a sibling of the Houndoom. Melody snorted rather noisily, but thankfully, no one seemed to notice.
She began to walk, not realizing there was a cord wrapped around her ankle. She instantly tripped, bringing down a couple of small appliances and an unused speaker. Said speaker knocked down three poles, but luckily, the domino effect stopped there. The crash of falling metal wasn't loud enough for the audience to hear, but it certainly wasn't quiet, either. "Shi-!" Melody shouted, but cursing was no help. She stretched out her arms, desperately trying to break her fall, but all she grasped was open air. She fell in a heap with a muted thud.
As she regained her bearings, she realized she hadn't landed on the floor, because the floor would be hard and flat. Instead, whatever she fell on was rather lumpy, soft, and... warm? With utter horror, she realized she had knocked over a fellow gijinka in the process. Now, she and this... other person were a tangle of limbs, cord, and canvas bag.
She wondered if living as one of those carnival clowns would be less embarrassing.

Everything happened very fast.
At one moment Lux was talking to Lupe saying he didn't want to continue "too bad" I said to myself, it would be cool for him to continue after the great performance he did, my attempt to convince him to stay was
"What are you scared or something?" It was teh first thing that came out of my mouth but I think it wasa good choice; after all he was that kind of guy as far as I could sense.
"Like I would be scared of this kind of sh..OMG!" He said as he noticed it was me who was talking; I think he was about to say something else when it came. I could see a crash adn then figured out what was happening.
Hon came from nowhere and hit him. I saw Lupe laughing, then saw Hon also laughing and a Luxray in the floor.
"don't laugh Hoom...don't do it, he would feel worst.." But I couldn't stop myself that time, I beagn to laugh and after some seconds I stopped.
"Hey are you all right?" I asked as I kneeled to see his face. He didn't answer so I continue "I think you'll need to forgive me for laughing at you but hey..it was a funny scene. Please forgive my brother too.." That was the best I could say, after all I've never been good at making people feel better.
"By the way Hon, we'll talk about this incident later ok?" I said as I gave him a look and smile he wouldn't forget very easily.

Well after my performance I went back stage to catch my breath. But while walking back I saw that Houndoom point to the back like she wanted to meet me. HOLY CRAP!!!
"Hey you did a great job! I knew I could count on you since I thought you looked so powerful." Said the Lopunny.
I walked faster towards her with a smile on my face.
"You did wonderful and I think you will do great in the next round!" She smiled.
I walked over to her and stood in front, than I had an evil look on my face and blasted her over the head.
"Next time give me a warning before you do something like that! That wasn't cool at all!" I yelled at her with anger in my tone.
"You didn't need to hit me." She cried.
"Sure did!" As I turned around to head for the water. "Pay back is a bitch remember that!"
"Oh that's right!" She said shocked. "My bad. Anyway I am Lupe and I am one of the head Pokemon here, I would encourge you to continue battling and.."
"Not a chance..." I said interuptting her drinking a bottle of water.
At that moment a Houndour walked by and told me to watch myself. He gave me a evil glare so I glared back at the puny little boy. Like I could care.
"But BUT BUT YOU HAVE TOO!!!" Said Lupe with big eyes. "You are amazing! You could do very well."
"I just don't have any interest in it. Besides what's in it for me." I said looking at her.
"What are you scared or something?" said a voice from behind me.
"Like I would be scared of this kind of sh..OMG!" I said as I turned to see Houndoom leaning against the wall smiling at me. "Oh ho snap!"
Than all of a sudden I heard someone running which started getting loader as I turned it was already too late...
"UFFFFFF"
That's what I get from a Houndour giving me a headbutt in the, well yea that area that I really need.
"I told you to watch yourself boy" said Houndour giving me a nasty look.
I was laying on the floor holding myself and trying to keep myself from crying. Lupe was holding her breath from laughing a few feet from me. That cocky little runt Hondour was laughing his pants off. How embarassing was that. I could barely look up at Houndoom because I was in so much pain.
Was it worth being flirty with a Houdoom to get hurt like this...I don't know....

I watched from the entrance to the arena as this guy went out. he seemed to be in a fight with the announcer. As he walked out to the arena and began his performence i saw he was doing pretty good but then i saw him cock a veiw at my sister. That flaired me up. I could have sworn steam was coming outa my ears. He finished his performence and Hoom walked off. He left the arena and as he walked by me i said to him,"better watch yourself boy". HE gave me a glare and i gave him one.

"Don't laugh Hoom, don't laugh" That is what I kept saying when I saw his face, poor guy but I guess Lupe is an espontaneous girl after all and well I wanted to enjoy what was about to come. I thought the Luxray was going to kill that announcer when he said what he did, I would do the same; however he didn't.
His name was Lux, cool name for a guy I thought. Everything began to get even better when he began the performance; every move he did looked great and I was happy when he smiled at me.
At the end the only thing that passed through my mind was "did he just...yes he did..." A grin came to my face and I was decided to talk to that guy; I though that if I wasn't going to see him again, then, why not talk to an interesting person?
Somehow I managed to get his atention and made some signals indicating him I'll be waiting in the backroom. The percentages were low so I was very surprised when he actually appeared.
Someone was saying something about what was coming but i ignored it.
"so...do you want to drink something before whatever that is coming next begins?" I asked smiling.
