People are asking about the contest coming up... so here's a post where we can discuss how it will be all laid out. I will give y'all questions. In your comments, number your answers. Like answer 1 goes to question 1, and so forth. Please answer ALL the questions. I've already put my answers. But don't let yourself get byast by my decisions.
1. How should the contest be judged?
My ideas were that the contest would be judged on how well you explain. Use lots of adjectives, get VERY specific, and be very elaborate. Maybe whoever does the best job could win the ribbon.
2. Where should the contest be held? Which REGION, and then which CITY/TOWN?
Maybe we shouldn't go with the more well-known places, like Hearthome. That's boring and it's used so many times it's unoriginal.
3. How long should the 'event' take?
I think we should first make up a post on how our character heard about the contest, and then we'll talk about our character getting to the town. Then we'll talk about our character signing up or getting a contest pass. Then they'll describe waiting in the lobby area with the tv's. These actions might take one post or four, depending on how elaborate you are.
4. What's the layout of the contest?
I think we should stay with anime tradition on this one. That means the first round is the Entrance Round. Next is the Battling Rounds. I think that's it. Am I forgetting anything?
5. How is the Entrance Round set up?
We would describe our character's outfit in a detailed way or draw their outfit and post it up. Then we would describe our character doing their entrance moves and trying to 'wow' the audience. Then the rest of us will comment and say what we liked about their entrance.
6. Who will be fighting who? What's the lineup?
I guess it'll be up to Otomii-chan to determine the fighting lineup. First of all we need to see who wants to participate in the contest, and hopefully it'll be an even number.
7. How will we decide who wins the battling round?
I have NO CLUE how we'll do this. Any suggestions?
8. What's the reward for winning the contest?
Should we have just a first place, or maybe second and third and possibly fourth places? If so then small tokens/medals will be given out to the lower ranks. There'll definitely be a ribbon that you get if you win first place. I nominate myself to draw it so you'll know what it looks like. I think that if you win you'll get lots of berry points. I'm not sure how many.
So the 'Contest' event will be in multiple stages: Introduction, Entrance Round, and the multiple Battling Rounds. We can't move on to another stage until everyone's posted their introduction, for example. This will help us stay on track with the contest.

I was just thinking... since half of the club is still confused about the whole storyline, how about we start a new one and it take place in a POKEMON CONTEST ( or a battle if you want )
