I didn't sleep that well during all of this... I kept having bad dreams. I can't remember what they were about, but I know they were bad.
But then, towards the end of them, a faint song started weaving into my dream. The song was really pretty and it made all the scary stuff in my dream go away. I remember that song! My dad used to sing it to me.... when I still lived in the forest with him and mommy... The song got louder and louder and then I gained full conscience. I kept my eyes closed though.
Wait a minute... where am I? The last thing I remember was sitting in the stands at the Pokemon contest... where I am now it's almost completely quiet, except for the person singing. Anyway, who was it?
I slowly opened my eyes against the bright alabaster (y'all know that's basically a white color, slightly off-white, right?) room... this must be the doctor's office or something.
The singing was coming from the person laying next to me on the hospital bed...Estelle? Ah! Estelle onee-chan! She also came to see me!
She saw I was awake, and she smiled softly and kissed my cheek. "Ototo...." she whispered, and then I could hear her breath level out as she fell asleep.
At this point I remembered about how bad I was feeling earlier... I took a quick health check. I definitely don't feel as hot, and my ears and tail don't hurt as much either. But now I can feel a slight soreness on my left shoulder... Did I get shots or something?
Quietly, 'cuz I didn't want to wake Estelle up, I lifted up my head from the somewhat-hard pillow and surveyed my surroundings. To my right, there were long windows on the wall, covered in open blinds, and I could see outside. From the sun it looked like it might be around mid-afternoon. Lots of pretty trees too, I wonder if that's our forest.
To my left, along the wall were some chairs, and little Nina was seated in one, mouth covered in a surgical mask, her head propped up on the palm of her hand, fast asleep. That's really sweet of her... that she cared enough to wait in here while I slept. I smiled.
My hearing was better too. I heard some footsteps outside the door and then my friends Poochy and Eva came into the room. Oops, they must've heard me, even though I was trying to be quiet...
I could see their faces instantly brighten with smiles as they realized I was awake.
Poochy smiled sadly. "I'm sorry Nyarth, you're contagious and Estelle warned us to not get near you. How're you feeling?"
I was confused. "Wait, what?" I said softly (again, I didn't want to wake up Estelle). "What do I have?"
Eva spoke up. "You have Pokepox, and it's really contagious. Well, not to Estelle, 'cuz she's already had it."
Pokepox?? That can't be good... I've heard of it a little bit, but I never thought I'd catch it. Man, it IS horrible. "I feel a lot better now though, guys. Arigato gozaimasu for taking your time to check on me!" I smiled happily.
"Just go back to sleep, you need rest to get better you know," Poochy said, and she and Eva left the room and quietly shut the door behind them.
I was still feeling exhausted, and Estelle's warmth next to me was enough to make me feel drowsy again. I slowly turned on my side, 'cuz I sleep better on my side, and put my head on the pillow. With a deep, happy sigh, I fell asleep again, sure that I would have no more bad dreams.

Oops! It seems that as I was writing this, Hon and Poochy posted something. Whoever reads this, all of these events happens right after the "Otouto" post, and before the other two. ^^;

Keep in mind, HE doesn't know yet that him and Estelle are siblings. He doesn't think much of the "Ototo" that Estelle said. Normal for him.
Ahhh, a peaceful scene here. It's so cute~
It's my bedtime now, so g'night guys! School tomorrow! Haha.
