There were no memories from the little chat we had with Chii; I remembered Eva thanking me because of the scarf; weird things happened in a short amount of time and I guess they weren’t in order so it was confusing. The best option at that moment was to get out of that place and relax; when Hon said "about that walk" It felt as he knew what was needed, the faster we got for the walk, the better.
“ok, just let me go get some things" Another smile in my face and I went to my room. Te sight of the disorganized bed and other stuff made me nervous for some reason; I cleaned everything and now the room looked presentable.
I began to look and see if my wallet had survived and was happy to found it did; the other thing that was worrying me was the button that was in my waistcoat; it had a special meaning and losing it was something I wasn’t going to accept. Few minutes later I was glad to found it in the bathroom.
There wasn’t any other thing I could take with me so I left the room and went downstairs to found Hon was talking with Lux; as soon as our eyes met, my face began to get red “great Hoom, you are acting in a very stupid way, can’t you just control yourself and act normal?” My first movement was to look at Hon, a bad idea since I knew he would notice the strange behavior. Hopefully the awkward moment didn’t last long and now we were heading out.
“Ok so what happened between you and Lux?” Hon’s arm over my shoulder told me that was a question that I had to answer. After some minutes my face finally regained its normal color and a huge sigh came out of me; my tail stopped waving and now was down.
“Are you sure you want to know?” Stupid thing to say since he nodded. I was about to tell him everything but the moment was interrupted by a
"Hoom!"
"Lux?!?" What the hell was he doing there??!! “Try to act as normal as you can…” I smiled and now Hon and I were wondering what was going on.
"Hey how are you doing?" He sounded kind of nervous and on my side I was able to control myself and answer.
"Oh...I am well." almost couldn’t hear what I said.
"Lux what the hell are you doing here?" Hon asked with a suspicious look. The same question was in my mind.
"I was gonna ask you the same thing about how you knew about my bed room." Nice way to avoid the question but since he was there, why don’t ask him about the Ball? I saw papers on the walls before leaving. At first the idea was not very exciting but it sounded like a lot of fun
"Lux did you hear the news?" I asked and seeing he didn’t know, continued "I guess not. You look a bit flustered. There is going to be a Valentine's Ball at the mansion. I mean it sounds like so much fun but I have nothing to wear." The nerves made me said what was through my mind.
"Oh a ball? Sounds kind of boring." With his answer, I knew my hypothesis was wrong and couldn’t understand why I was feeling kind of sad.
"Yeah it sounds a bit childish. You're right." What else could I say? The idea of the ball sounded nice but I guess I wouldn’t go.
"No Hoom, its only childish if you don't go. So how about you get yourself a nice dress and have some fun."
"Well, I guess I could head into town today and find one." I appreciated the gesture but wasn’t completely convinced; after all, the previous dress I bought for the contest died and the idea of a dress and me was weird.
"Yeah sis you should go! You totally need to go buy a dress. I might ask Melody to go with me." What Hon said was unexpected but really cute; I began to laugh along with Lux
"WHAT? WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?!?"
"How about you and I go into the city together? I really need to buy some stuff for myself and wouldn't mind the company."
"So you are asking me to go to the city with you?" It seemed the day was filled of unexpected things, well as long as Hon came with us…
"Hoom, how about we make it a date? I'll even treat you to lunch!" He grinned. A date??! The idea sounded good and I began to talk without knowing it.
"Alright its a date but I am picking the restaurant Luxy." Really Luxy Hoom?? What were you thinking?”
"Luxy? Alright whatever you say Hoomy." He sarcastically replied.
"Hey Hon is that okay if I go with him?" I turned to him letting Lux's and mine hands to separate. A part of me wanted Hon to say he would go with us, the other one wasn’t very sure of the date but liked the idea.
"Sure sis have fun!" He said with both arms behind his head. "I got some things I gotta do." I knew he didn’t like the idea and we were going to spend time together. I was determined to talk to him as soon as I got back “ you are a bad sister you know it right?”
"Okay are you ready?"
"Yep! I got everything I need." I smiled still feeling guilty. However after walking for a while I thought not to let this chance being ruined… I wanted to have fun.
As we began to arrive to the city the sun seemed to be brighter and I realized two things. First one, we were going to the town and I couldn’t hide my horns “great I’ll go with the excuse of cosplaying again…” Second one, it was the first time I was going to have an apparently nice date. The few ones that I had didn’t turn out into something enjoyable.
“ I actually had other dates but this one feels different..” Then it hit me, I looked at Lux who was about to laugh “I said that out loud right?” He nodded and my face turned red again. I think I kept saying stupid things around him for an unknown reason; at that time I had to say something…
“Well I meant it; after all you are the first guy who calls me beautiful and, are you aware of the fact that you are very handsome? Well it’s not only that of course, you too are a really sweet guy and I love spending time with you” what I sad surprised me but it was the truth. After that, everything felt better; I smiled then looked at him; hopefully I wasn’t embarrassing him or embarrassing myself…
I then grabbed his arm filled with a new energy
“So…where are you going to take me?” I asked as we continued walking, for a moment I could swear I saw Skul but it would be weird to found him outside with all the sun. Lux kept in silence for a while and then answered.
