"Where did..." I left off as I tried to catch my breath. Dang, that Gengar and Mear can run fast...
"Gone, but it left our bags here..." Mear told me and my eyes darted to the bags. Immediately, I saw the Love card on top of the bag, Mear about to grab it, but I snatched the bag away and took the card off of it and stuffed it into my pocket. I had to keep this card away from Mear....
"Was that a card of yours?" Mear suddenly asked me, making me jump a little.
"Ya..." I told him. "I've been looking for it everywhere..." I lied. It was the only way I could make it stay like this. This friendship.
"Ah..." I nodded to myself and picked up the other bag, and handing it to Mear.
"Let's get going..." I accidentally said with cold, with the hint of me being unnerved. I just wanted to get out of here before Mear asked what the card was.
"Alright," Mear replied, and we started off towards the mansion once more, exiting the town and back into the woods.
Things were silent among us for a while, and that was one thing I liked at the moment. It gave me stuff to think about, especially now. First of all, I think I was growing to like Mear more, and two, something about that Gengar made me wonder what he did to our clothes, but besides that, I was wanted to kill that Gengar right now. With what he was doing for Mear and I was embarrassing and agonizing. If that Gengar ever became a Gijinka, I would kill him on the spot, I'm sure of it.
Slowly, we got back to the mansion, and we entered through the back door. Once we got the second floor, I turned my head to Mear.
"Do you wanna play a game of cards later?" He seemed startled by this. He was probably indulged in his thoughts, and I had interrupted them at the moment. Whoops.
"Um... Sure. I guess we'll see each other then?" I nodded and went off to my room, and once I got to my room, I decided to take a shower, and then probably stay in my room until it was dark out. Seemed like a good solution anyways.
I laid my jacket, parasol, and bags on my bed as I went to my closet and grabbed my black towel I normally carried around with me. I went to the showering room for the girl's, it being empty, thank God, and started up a shower.
Once I got in the water, my muscles calmed down and I relaxed. I started to hum some song I heard a ghost singing one day when it was lonely. I then started to sing the tune softly.
"Beautiful days are gone again,
Just what have I done,
Loneliness is among my soul,
And everybody around me is so cold,
How lonely will I be until I find,
Someone to love and for him to be kind,
Then maybe someday, I will be happy,
Because right now, I'm lonely..."
I really had no idea why I was singing this, but I guess since I was feeling it right now, I decided to sing it. It was sad melody, something only a ghost Pokemon or Gijinka would know.
I finished up and wrapped myself in my towel and went quickly back to my room, clothes in hand. Once I got back, I threw my dirty clothes into a black, circular hamper and then slipped on some new, clean clothes. As I let my hair air dry, it still being soaking wet, I went back over to my bed and started to sort things around.
I took out my new necklace and put it on my dresser and threw away the little bag. I then took my dress box out of its bag, and took the top off so that I could put the dress up in my closet, but I almost shrieked when I saw my dress. It was red.
When I had put on the dress, I knew it was specifically purple and black, but now, it was pure red. That little Gengar...!!! He changed my dress to red! I was soo going to kill him now...
I sighed, unhappy, and hung the dress up in my closet, and put the empty box on the floor of my closet. Going back to my bed, I picked up my jacket and started to rummage through each pocket for that white card... Hold on a second... I looked through my pockets again. It wasn't there. Now, I knew I was hallucinating.
I checked my jacket about ten times more, but it wasn't there. Great. Just great. Just where did that little Gengar put it now?
I sighed and put my coat to the side as I found a little fan on my nightstand. I laid down and turned the little fan, it blowing cold air on my face. I sighed once more and found my book right beside me now, so I picked it up and started reading once again.
And the writing started furiously once more.
