Mear
As we came back to the mansion entrance, I found that Shupple was looking at me as if to say something. I turned my head, and she started talking.
"Do you wanna play a game of cards later?" Shupple asked somewhat out of the blue. I turned my head a bit confused as to why she had suddenly suggested this, but after a moment I found a reasonable answer.
"Um... Sure. I guess we'll see each other then?" I answered not sure when ‘then’ was or any other factor, but it didn’t seem to matter much at this point. Shupple nodded and headed off towards the girl’s wing and off to her own room I suspected. I stood a moment with my own bag and sketchbook still in hand before I was able to move again. Hm.. what to do now… I found it somewhat funny that I was actually debating what to do. It was usually an obvious answer… draw. However, from the short time I had been in the house, I was completely thrown off of the norm. More and more options came with interacting with many, yet the large group still unnerved me.
I found that I was still standing there debating what exactly to do when the doorbell rang. I assumed someone would go and get it and decided to head away into the back yard not really in the mood to deal with a large amount of people. Truthfully, I was pretty far from the back door in correspondence with the rest of the mansion, and as I continued to walk by, I noticed the Chinchou Gijika… um… Chii yes that was his name. I couldn’t quite remember where I had heard his name… were we introduced before? I couldn’t think… Probably someone had said it or something. Come to think of it, it might not even be his name.
Shaking my head for a split second, I saw him walking off in the direction of Lupe who was walking far off on another part of the house. Blinking for a moment, I turned my head away just in time to see the Luxray from earlier… the one that drank straight from the carton of milk… yes that was him. He seemed to be looking off where Chii had run off to. My eyes moved towards an Azurill Gijika he was standing with.
Debating whether or not to introduce myself or just slip off up to my room and put my things away, I stared for a moment. However, this option was thrown out the window as the Luxray seemed to turn his head and realize that I was staring at him. Taking a few steps forwards, we both met in the middle, the Luxray looking strangely confident and me just giving half nods back.
“And I think this is the smeargle who made the house,” the Luxray said as if he had just started another conversation or something along those lines. Then he looked at me and gave a half joking smile.
“We were never really introduced,” I said finding that my voice was strange light as I said this. It was then that I realized that there were many in the house that I had yet to really introduce myself to. I made a mental note to look around a bit and maybe try and establish some at least name statuses. Hopefully not through the extreme mob like format that had occurred the night previously. “My name is Mear,” I said still unsure of anything more to say being more the product of the sudden turn in conversation rather than anything else.
“Oh right,” the Luxray half laughed. “I’m Lux, and this is Allie the Azurill Gijika. She’s new here, and Chii and I were showing her around… well until Chii ran off for stuff….”
Chii… So I had got his name right. Now the question was where had I heard it… meh probably some conversation around the house or something. I was being silly holding onto this strange thought and knew it. Pushing that aside, I tried to be half social. In truth, I would have been happier at that moment away from everyone and drawing a scene of nature or doing something solitary… then again if wishes were Magickarp….
“Hello,” the Azurill now known to me as Allie said more or less still looking around the mansion.
“If you need any help locating anything,” I said unsure of where I was going with this. “I made the mansion, so I pretty much know it inside and out.”
Lux’s face seemed to take on a keen look that I wasn’t quite sure of, and before I knew it, he had took me by the arm and had started dragging me along as he showed Allie around the house.
“Wait, what are you…” I said as I was still being dragged more or less.
“Well you of all people should know this house inside and out,” Lux answered as he continued walking. “And I only know a bit of this place not to mention Allie has never seen this place to begin with, so you can show us both around.”
Now this I was not ready for, but Lux continued to walk on as if nothing were wrong. The bag under my arm shifted, and the sudden sound of metal hitting the floor alerted me that my sketchbook had slipped from under my arm and had hit its head on the floor.
“Wait stop…” I tried again. This time, Lux did stop. However, he still had me by the arm. “Let me put some stuff up…” I said thinking of some way I could escape being dragged or anything else for that matter.
“I’ll carry it if you need,” Lux answered moving to take the bag that I was still carrying off of my arm.
“N-no,” I answered. “Just give me a minute.”
With that, I managed to slip my arm out of Lux’s grip, grab the sketchbook, and race up to my room.
After a few seconds, I was back in my room. Debating whether or not to actually go back down stairs and continue showing them around, I sighed realizing that it would only be right, and just leaving them there would be somewhat mean. However….
I sighed feeling more conflicted than anything else. Yet my mind had already come to the decision on going back even if I tried to put up extra fronts as to why not to go. In the end, I found myself walking back down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, I found that Lux and Allie were still waiting. Lux had one hand on his hip looking somewhat perturbed, and I didn’t doubt it was because of my sudden rush away.
As I came down the last few steps, Lux seemed to resume his previous stance and then made a move with his arm almost to say “come on already.” I gave a half nod and then came down the full flight of stairs.
“Now then,” Lux said. “Where to first?”

^^; sorry couldn't let this opportunity pass hah. <<; Chii can... catch up whenever lol. *is shot* Oh and sorry for not posting yesterday. School tends to keep me on my toes. Anyways, I'll get around to posting for Lee right after this.
