Shupple
I hadn't even noticed that Mear had started to run his hands through my hair, and it actually made me feel peaceful. I guess you could say I was completely peaceful at the moment.
"Shupple..." Mear said quietly, but I just mumbled something I was thinking, Mear probably not being able to decipher it but I just relaxed and we stayed still and like the way we were for a while. I didn't even know how long. I wasn't counting.
Mear relaxed it seemed but he seemed to be looking at the door, I hearing it close and then his eyes back to me. I felt somewhat sleepy. Am I really that tired from all of that? I also realized that I had been acting a little stupid earlier, and childish. Childish? Where did that word come from?
I also realized that I should have said thank you to me for comforting me, but then again, he decided to do it on his own accord. I decided to tell him anyways, even if he didn't know what I meant.
"Thank... thank you... Mear," I told him, tired entering my voice. He seemed a little confused. I wouldn't blame him.
We stayed like this for a little bit, not moving at all except Mear's hand moving through my hair. It felt nice, actually.
I also realized that I was a little hungry, yet tired, and I didn't want to go back outside this room just because I was hungry and because I didn't exactly want this to end, I guess...
My stomach proved me wrong though and growled a little loud. Mear noticed and I looked over at him.
"Do you want to get something to eat, or just.. stay like this?" I asked quietly, but he heard. I was pretty sure of it.
I hoped we would stay like this, but I had a feeling food would come first. I wasn't really sure.
