"You know, there must be 20 billion other ways to say 'You're gonna run someone over' that are simpler than that." I told him. He seemed surprised that I understood him. "I'm not totally stupid, you know. By the way, I don't think we've met. I'm Kat."
"I'm Lee," he said in a rather formal sounding voice. I smiled at him.
"Let's be friends, then okay?" I said. Then I remembered my task. "Oh! That's right! I left my map in the sitting room!" I whispered under my breath. "Hm? Are you maybe going to the dance?"
