"... Lux... "
My eyes fluttered open. I found myself hugging one of the plushies from off the shelf. My cheek felt quite warm. The window curtains we're drew to the side, letting the sun come in my room. I was blinded by the brightness of the snow.
"The beauty of the pure white snow is quite blinding to the very eyes." I giggled while holding up my arm to my eyes, sitting up. I wonder why the curtains of the balcony door was drew to the side in the first place. I did a neko-like stretch, grabbed my robe, and went to the balcony door. I pulled them pull and the freezing winter breeze got to me.
"Like a Serbian night in the most brisk part of France.." I shivered. I quickly went back inside and shut the doors. My peripheral vision caught jewelry, gleaming from the sun. I went over to the unfamiliar jewelry. I lifted the necklace.
"A moon necklace? ... And what this?" I looked over to other gleaming gems that seems to be beautiful matching earrings. I sniffed the necklace and earrings to see if there was still a scent left on these gifts.
"*sniff* ... *sniff* Hm? ... Lux? Demo... Doushite? (Note: But... Why?)" I wondered. He probably saw the gift I made for him. I also found a pink rose sitting next to the jewelry. I smiled.
"Well these will go divinely with my Valentine's Ball gown." I smiled placing them with my full outfit. I attached the necklace to a big pink ribbon that I was going to wear as a choker and made the pink rose into a bracelet as well. I slipped on my fuzzy slippers and headed out the door towards the bathroom. There was no reason to get dress yet; it was only morning. After brushing my teeth, I headed to the kitchen. Mr. Kyuu and Mr. Andreas was chatting with each when I came in.
"Oh. Ohayou gentlemen" I greeted.
"Good morning Estelle" Mr. Kyuu responded. Mr. Andreas also said good morning.
"Something smells great. What are you two up to?" I asked.
"We're making treats and food for the Ball tonight!" Mr. Kyuu cheered. He has such a kid spirit. Mr. Andreas nodded.
"Well I think I'll help you men now. After all I WAS asked to yesterday. And also, it's always needed for a woman's help in the kitchen." I joked while rolling up my sleeves. I got out sweetened milk and 50 big bars of chocolate out the refrigerator. Then I went into the drawer and pulled out a sharp knife.
"Hahahaa! Is that so?" Mr. Kyuu laughed.
"Well, excuse us then miss" Mr. Andreas joked. I playfully rolled my eyes at them and pulled out a giant bowl with a mixing spoon from the cabinet.
"And what are you making 'Miss Woman of the Kitchen'?" Andreas asked while still cooking.
"Sweet Valentine Chocolates!" I grinned putting on a apron. I quickly chopped up the chocolate into very tiny micro-bits.
"You work quick" Mr. Andreas commented. I nodded and poured the chopped chocolate in the bowl then poured the milk. I mixed the combination with great speed. Some time passed and the chocolates we're being baked in the oven. I prepared cooking the next dish. The two men we're done with their previous dish as well and prepared for their next dish.
"Well now for the punch." Mr. Kyuu said getting things ready.
"I'll make some more baked food. Not sure what to make though." Mr. Andreas said scratching his head.
"Well now, Mr. Andreas, why not make Baked Alaska?" I suggested.
"Hmm.. Maybe I'll just go with some cookies or something." he said smiling.
I giggled and nodded. "Then I'll bake the cake." I said to them. Someone entered the kitchen. It was Emmett.
"Why hello Emmett." I greeted the Empoleon Ginjinka. I never really have spoken to him. Emmett had a tired look on his face.
"Hey..." he yawned.
"Did you just woke up?"
"Unfortunately.." he pulled out a chair and sat down placing his head on the table.
"You wake quite late."
"Yeah.."
"Would you like to help then?"
"With what exactly?"
"Making food for the Ball night." I cheered.
"Hm.... No. Not really." he said rolling his head to the other side, facing the other direction. I folded my arms and grunted.
"And why not??" I asked with anger.
"Not going." he responded. I banged the spoon against his head.
"Ow!" he yelled holding his head. I threw a apron at his face as soon as he sat up.
"Well you're working today Mister!" I smiled evilly. A grunt came from his mouth. I rolled my eyes.
"Older men do not intimidate me, Emmett. So you can grunt ALL you want, but it won't get you anywhere." I lecture. I then turned around and continued baking the cake. After some time things were done with.
"Well I'm off to make sure the Ball room is well done." I told the three working men.
"Oh Estelle! I made decorated the Ball Room earlier. It's fine." Mr. Kyuu pointed out.
"Oh really! That's was kind of you Mr. Kyuu" I said to him. He walked over to me.
"Yupp! I'm just a kind guy! ... Oh yes. There is something I have to tell you Estelle." he said. This caught me by surprise. What did he have to tell me?
"U-Un." I nodded. He pulled me out the kitchen and into the living room we went. I looked at Mr. Kyuu face as he pulled me by my arm. It was filled with sadness. We stopped walking and he faced me.
"I'm afraid it's time for me to leave." he smiled nervously. My eyes widened.
"Oh.. I see. It's time for you to leave the pack huh? May I ask why are you going so suddenly?" I asked him with a saddened face.
"Well... I have to find her. I don't believe my heart can stand being away from her any longer.." he told me. Instantly knew he was talking about his lover.
"Ah. Isn't that risky?"
"Yes, but I'm willing to take that risk. Besides, I won't die. I'm pretty tough ya know!" he said showing some muscle. I chuckled a little. Even in the saddest of times, he would make people crack a smile.
"Understandable. Do what you must do, Nason. But who will be our doctor if you leave?" I asked him being informal with him.
"I send my younger half-brother over here. I called him last night. He should be arriving tonight. He's quite the doctor like I am. Well... Maybe I'm a little better." he joked.
"I told him about the occasion and he has a tux and everything. Plus I send him a pic of you, Lupe and Faye so he'll know who to go to. Oh and he's a Zangoose Gijinka. I'll leave as soon as he gets here." he added.
"Wait. Can we at least have a goodbye party for you?" I said tugging on his shirt.
"That would be too saddening.." he patted me on my head. I then felt embraced.
"My time here with you.. no.. All of you has been fun. Unforgettable." he whispered into my ear, hugging me. I slightly blushed and hugged back with a smile.
"Please hurry back." I told him. After a few seconds of hugging I made my way to my room. I flopped on my bed and drifted into a little cat nap.
Mr. Kyuu
I headed to my room to change into my white tux. There was nothing else for me to do. My bags were already packed and everything was ready to go. I stared at the photo sitting on my dresser. My eyes began to form tears..
"Chimari... My dearest Chimari... I'm coming for you. My heart can no longer take us being apart. Oh how I wish for us to be once again reunited. I will make my wish become reality. I can no longer stay in this house when young love continues to form. Young love... We were young when we fell in love... We shall soon be together just as before. For there is no other like you..." I said. I felt a single tear fall from my cheek. I wiped it from my face and shook my head.
"Oh Nason. You're blabbing on again..." I chuckled to myself. I tried to put a smile on my face. Suddenly my cell phone sounded off.
"Moshi, Moshi?" I said into the phone.
"Yo! Big Bro! I'm almost there. Boy this place pretty deep in the forest. This mansion of yours better be as big and luxurious as you say it is." It was Zaishi.
"Yes, Yes. It is Zai. Do you have on you're tux? It's almost time for the ball." I asked him.
"Yeah Yeah. I do. I got my red tux on And DAMN! I look good! Hahahahaaa!" he laughed. I smiled and rolled my eyes.
"You're the same as always. Confident as usual."
"I try to be bro! Oh and those 3 girls you sent me a picture of, TOTAL BABES! Thanks for the hook up!" he cheered.
"Ha. Call it what you want, but I believe they are already spoken for."
"Aw. Way to crush my spirits man. Well like I said. Almost there. Bye."
"Bye." I hung up the phone and sighed. I wonder if he'll be okay here.
Estelle
I woke up again from my little nap then look at the clock. Oh it's 8:50... WHAT?!?! 8:30?!?! I fell out the bed and rushed to put my clothes on.
"I can't believe I slept that long! It only felt like five minutes!" I Scold myself while putting on my gown. I brushed my hair up into a ponytail and held it together with a ribbon. Then I placed my jewelry and pink rose from Lux on and went slipped on my heels. Opening the door, I hear music playing from the Ball room.
"Damn it I'm soo late!" I said to myself.
"Yes you are." I heard someone say beside me. I let out a squeal. It was Lupe in the dress I made her. And I must say, it DID quite fit her curves quite well. Wait. No! It's time to be mad.
"And why in the hell did you not wake me up?!" I yelled at her.
"Hey, what do you think I was doing? Don't catch a 'tude 'cause YOU'RE the one who overslept." She folded her arms. I sighed.
"Yeah.. you're right.... Hey. Why aren't you in the yet?" Iasked her. She gave off a smirk.
"I like to be fashionably late" she said flicking her hair at me. A sweatdrop form at the back off my head. She laughed.
"Well lets get going hot-stuff. Our dates are waiting." she winked. I nodded with a smile and we both walked to the Ballroom. Everyone was in there already. I should be more careful about my sleep...
