NOW ONTO THE STORY!!!

Getting ready was a bit difficult for me. I nearly cried (a manly cry, I’ll have to know) (Author: LAIR. X3) when I had to take off my blue and yellow goggles and my short shorts. I kept on my yellow earrings for safty reasons (they amplify my electric power) but also because taking off those was too much for me to bear D’8
I stood in front of my mirror. Mmmmm… Hello Mr. Sexy~ Though it was uncomfortable to have actual pants on, I told the seamstress I was buying form that I wanted at least my middrift showing, telling her that I could not STAND to have that much clothes on. So I suited myself up with a plain white dress shirt with my stomach showing, white dress pants and shoes, a light pink vest, a bright red tie, pocket rose, and red belt. Perfect.

I stood near the ballroom entrance, dates around me making chit chat about the night, waiting as I was for the clock to strike 7:30.
But as the time to open the doors passed and all the cheering subsided and the couples went in, I felt my stomach leap from my chest.
Where is she?
I went inside and told whoever was taking attendance (I was too nervous to notice whoever it was) that Lupe would be coming in shortly.
Inside the décor was dazzling. Red and pinks nearly blurred me over with beauty……
I couldn’t help but check the clock. 7:50.
I felt sick. Was I stood up? I nearly cursed myself for thinking it. No, no she’s just… Late.
Then I noticed as the couples went into their places to talk and laugh that Reo was also without a date. Where Estelle and Lupe both gone?? Gah, this was ridiculous. But I had to wait never the less. She would come…. I hope.
8:20--Went to get some punch, made some chit chat with Melody and Hon (asking if they were together to which both kind of froze) and left soon after.
8:30--Sat on a chair as I watched little Nina and Nekoboy dance together. They were the cutest little couple ever, I would have run up and scooped them up and ran they were so adorable. But they were also the only ones dancing. I looked around at other couples who were just talking or watching them. I put on a miffed face--If it were me and Lupe up there we’d show them, those uncultured swine!
8:40--I was about to give up, she was almost an entire two hours late. But I had to stay, I still had faith in her. Reo was also still waiting, probably just as nervous as myself.
Then she came.
So overcome with nerves (which I found very strange considering I don’t get nervous) I quickly walked around the food table. I was going to surprise her.
She was looking at Nina and Nekoboy when I cautiously took her bare shoulders and watched her as she turned around. Ahhh~Nearly took my breath away…. She was beautiful.
“Chii…?” She looked me up and down and I smiled at her.
“Why good afternoon, beautiful~!” I kissed her hand, as all the gentlemen do on the islands I come from. But for some reason now it was different. I looked up and felt the pink run into my face and saw it in her’s as well.
I quickly recovered, “Why darling, you look simply exquisite!” I spun her by her hand as gently as possible, trying to get every angle of her. (ß haha Chii) “Estelle is quite the seamtress.”
“Ummm..Un.”
She was nervous?! I didn’t want that to happen (or did, I really didn’t know) What was I to….
“Ah!” That’s when I remembered. Back in town while buying my outfit (which scared the heck out of me, I wasn’t used to humans at all. So I had to go in disguise) I looked into a jewelry store and had found the perfect gift for Lupe.
I brought it out of my pocket, a wonderful choker necklace with a gleaming heart-shaped gem. She looked at it with awe as I quickly put it on her and missed her softly to the forehead.
"A gem for my Jewel for the night~" I winked. And in that moment her entire face went beat red and she let out a “Gahh!” Both hands flew to her forehead. "Geesh, why you had to do that? Placing kisses when I don't even know you like that!" She looked me straight in the eye and I was taken aback. I hadn’t known, I swear! I was dead now, my usually flirtatious vibe was failing--Had I insulted her?!? Kisses on the island were much more simple than these confusing mainlanders!!
"D-darling, kisses are normal. Just a way of gratitude and such. Does it bother you? I'll stop if stop if you want me to." I said quickly. I saw her face change to something I was too nervous to see, so again I began to panic.
“Gah, I’m so sorry Lupe! I didn’t know it bothered you! I--”
She placed her finger on my lips, as she had done when I asked her to the ball. Instantly I stopped speaking.
"No... I... I kind of... like it..." She smiled up at me.
I smiled back, completely as ease now. “Well that’s great.” I sighed and took her hand in mine. “Hey, you want to dance?” Time to show those uncultured swine who they were dealing with!!! >D
I hadn’t known she could ballroom dance, but even more I hadn’t even have guessed she could tango. On the island, I had learned from Monique, a masquerain Gijinka who had been stationed at our island to protect it from hunters, who had learned it from the mainland where she had lived before. But she had never been this good.
We had surly stirred up the others, many began to dance but none more so than Estelle and Reo (mostly Estelle) I saw Lupe and her give each other competitively dirty looks and I almost laughed. “Let’s show them, sweatheart~” I said.
She grinned (almost mischievously) as I spun her and nearly lifted her into the air.
This was perfect. But somewhere in the back of my head told me something was about to go wrong.

Sorry for the recap I know you just heard it from Lupe but I couldn’t resist putting it in his point of view DX!!
And besides maybe we’ll get punch or…. Something major will happen or…. just something I guess. ^^’’ I’ll let the future posters get that rolling is what I’m saying~ I didn’t want to go too into it just in case
