I felt the heat rush into my face at the thought of what I’d just done… Or almost had done! I had been so caught up and I hadn’t realized I’d had her so close to a lip-lock, our noses touching (O////A////O) And then she had pulled her famous move on me--She placed her finger to my lips, but this time my lips were still a bit wet from punch, which in my mind made my actions that much more embarrassing.
"Apology accepted. But c-can we at least wash up? I feel a little sticky." She said nervously.
I nearly died looking at where I’d put us and I could only nod, a blush covering my face.
“Y-Yes of course! Do you need help…?” What the heck was I saying?!
“No!” She said quickly, then stopped herself. “Um, let’s just go to the bathrooms and clean up real quick, I’m good.” She waltzed away from under my body as quickly as she had ended up there and I could only stare at her as she disappeared into the woman’s bathroom further down the hall.
Which left me to think, still stuck in that position.
It took a moment, but eventually it hit me.
I SPRINTED to the men’s room and wished I could have locked the door behind me. I turned the water on, putting my hands in it and splashing my face with it. I also combed through my hair a few times with my fingers, trying desperately not to look at myself.
But after a while I had to.
I gaped at my own reflection, dripping wet. My vest was halfway soaked with red punch, leaving a stain on the pale pink fabric. I quickly removed that to leave my mid-drift-showing white dress shirt, red tie, white pants and shoes and red belt which had not been harmed as much.
But even removing my vest couldn’t take away what I’d almost done.
I’d put her in a terribly awkward situation--Augh, she must think me a creep even more now! I watched my golden yellow eyes smolder as the thoughts ran over me. I touched her nose, I felt her breath so close to mine, I…. I saw her cry. My heart ached at that, knowing I’d been the one to do that. I’d kissed tears from her cheeks and well…
I saw the first time we’d, when Lux “introduced us” and my nose nearly expelled all my blood into the sink as I remembered. GAH!! Stop that, CHII!!! D<
I hated myself for feeling that way that I did.
….But I wanted so badly to kiss her.
I winced.
Because, in reality, I had never been kissed before.
I know, hard for anyone to believe. But don’t get me wrong, it has almost happened plenty of times, mostly with Monique… But she had been a lot like Lupe. Inexperienced (at least that was what I’d hoped with Lupe, because it was either that or she really didn’t want that kiss), stubborn, hesitant of things she wasn’t completely sure about… But also like Lupe she had been the one to walk away.
I dunked my head into the water. Cold water, and gasped as I threw my head back at the brain freeze it gave me.
How could I face her now?
Her words came back to me-- “"I'm not having such a good time anymore..." Now that killed me.
But I had to go back, it‘d put myself into this mess--As Cheruu would probably put it~ I had to show her I really did care.
Without even drying off and threw open the door and saw her. I could tell she had been thinking as well, her face was terribly concerned, though I could see she looked perfectly fine (to my relief) her red dress had absorbed most of it and thankfully it had been the same color. But when I walked out, my face and head drenched and my vest gone only to reveal my purposefully too-short on the belly dress shirt, I nearly felt myself hard core blush again.
“Uh… Not going to dry off…?” She said, trying very hard not to sound nervous.
“A-Ah yes of course! Excuse me.” I retreated back, so confused as to why she made me feel so self-conscious! I wore short shorts half the time and a belly shirt and this midriff-showing hair wetness was getting to me now?!!
But that didn’t matter--I had to be ready to give her the best ball night of her life and make it up to her for the FOUR terrible things I’d done (D8!!)
