Lee
“Lee-nii-san!” Rogue screamed out again causing my stomach to twitch and my muscles to tighten.
“Lee!” Kat yelled back almost seeming to echo Rogue.
“STOP THIS!” I yelled sharply turning my head to look for the man in the cloak, and yet he was gone as if to find something better to do. My eyes shifted sharply back to Kat and Rogue. My stomach tightened, my hands balled up into fists, my eyes….. “I’LL KILL YOU!” I found myself roaring, and with a sharp motion, I ran straight forwards and kicked the arachnid straight in the head causing it to fall completely backwards onto its back. “DON’T YOU EVER HURT ANYONE AGAIN!” I found my voice yelling and echoing out into nothingness, and yet I couldn’t stop. I wouldn’t stop. “Seismic Toss!” I roared kicking the spider up into the air like a soccer ball. Just as the bug came down, I found myself jump up to meet it coming down. “Brick Break!” I yelled flipping and kicking the spider straight into the ground forcing all my weight down onto it at once.
The sound of crashing ran through my ears, and yet I ignored it completely. It felt as though the ground underneath me had suddenly shaken due to the force of my impact on the spider, and yet my legs were strong and refused to buckle under me. I felt my breathing come instead waves of anger, and yet I wouldn’t stop. I’d kill this thing! “LOW KICK!” I yelled as I jumped straight off the side of the arachnid and then once again kicked it like a soccer ball straight forwards and into the nothingness. I wouldn’t let it go. No. I refused it let it go so lightly. My legs carried me at a sharp fast pace as I ran to meet the spider where it had fallen. The beast seemed to be suffering and was twitching to itself, and yet I wouldn’t stop. I couldn’t stop.
“Brick Break!” I yelled again starting to repeat my stream off attacks over and over and over again. Someone screamed behind me, and yet I couldn’t stop. I refused to stop.
Suddenly, the spider seemed to shrink in size and took the form of three boys laying on their backs. Another scream came from behind me, and I found I could no longer move…… Chan…. Top….. Ken…… They….. were laying before me just as though I had….. I had….. My breath caught, and yet the solo of screams did not cease from Rogue who had run straight past me now.
“CHAN! TOP! KEN!” Rogue screamed out as she ran to them and clasped them.
I couldn’t move. Had I really…. Had…. I…. I couldn’t breathe. What had I… what had I done?
“Lee!” a voice yelled over, and I found that Kat was moving towards me. However, she seemed to stop suddenly upon looking at my visage.
“YOU KILLED THEM!” Rogue’s voice rang out clear in my ears, and I was forced to turn my head and view it as my own pride demanded I should. Rogue had one arm on Chan and another on Ken, and she was reflecting a look of sheer terror on her face as she looked at me. My heart beat in a sudden rhythm of pain that none could surpass. I had…… no…. I……what…. “YOU KILLED THEM!” Rogue screamed out again suddenly breaking down, releasing both Chan and Ken, and curing up into a ball. “Lee-Nii-San…. Why…. Why…. Did you….” Rogue’s voice came in waves that I could not begin to explain.
“Lee…. You killed your own family….” Kat said aloud causing me to turn sharply to her. Her face was dark as she said this, and I felt my muscles tighten.
“YOU KILLED THEM!” Rogue screamed out again but this time in a crushed voice that only managed to cause her body to shake a few seconds. “Brother….. you killed them…….”
“N-n-no…. I killed that spider….” I said feeling my own voice shake now. “I… I….”
“YOU KILLED THEM!” Rogue roared back at me, and the force that she had used in her own voice was enough to cause a tremor down my spine. “Lee….Nii………You…. You…… killed them….” Rogue sobbed still not even trying to resume her composure. With that, I could no longer keep my own composure.
“I DID NOT!” I yelled sharply, and yet it did no good but to cause Kat to look at me sharply and Rogue to scream out again. My nerves were in knots now. What…NO…. I… couldn’t allow myself to accept this. I didn’t do it…..
“LIAR!” Rogue roared back at me causing me to suddenly take a step back. “LIAR LIAR LIAR!” With each scream, I found that I took yet another step back. “WHY DID YOU KILL THEM! WHY DID YOU KILL KEN!” My composure was completely shot now. I had killed the one person Rogue had loved completely, and I knew it…. I knew it…..
“Lee….. you killed them….” Kat said again, and I turned sharply to try and find some form of comfort… yet to no avail. There was a dark aura that seemed to radiate from her, and it made me tight. “You killed your own family….. I thought you loved them….. from the way… you talked about them… I thought….”
“Kat…” I started trying to keep my voice from shouting out what I refused to say.
“HE KILLED THEM! He killed them….. He killed….. my Ken….” Rogue cried out once more before falling completely silent.
“NO!” I found my voice echoing out into the nothingness. I was shaking now, and my legs refused to hold me.
“You killed your family…” Kat said again, and I felt my pupils contract.
“NO!” I shouted back. “NO! I…. NO!”
“You killed me….” A voice said behind me. I turned sharply around and found that Chan’s body had started to rise but in the format that one forces their body after a long and painful experience.
“Chan!” I said looking directly at him, and yet he reflected a dead eyed look back at me.
“You killed me…. Lee….. Now wouldn’t Dad be proud now?” Chan smirked to himself and let out a coy half laugh. “Dad’d be so proud to know that all his boys ended up dead because of you… how does it feel Big Bro? How does it feel to know that we’re dead.”
“NO!” I shouted back sharply. “NO!” I couldn’t stop shouting. My voice echoed, and my throat burned, and yet I couldn’t stop shouting. “NO! I DIDN’T! KILL YOU!”
“LIAR!” Rogue voice shot up again.
“Lee… you killed them,” Kat’s voice said form behind me.
“NO!” I shouted back.
“You….. killed me….. what… did I ever do to… deserve this… Lee-nii….” My head shot around again, and I found that Top had gotten up as well. He was standing on both feet instead of the spindle on his head, and I felt something crack inside me. “I know… I played a few jokes…. And got Rogue into trouble with Dad…. And… sorry about that…. But…. Why did you kill me?”
“STOP! STOP!” I yelled.
“You killed them Lee,” Kat’s voice said again, and yet it was higher pitched now. I felt my muscles tighten, and I wanted to scream.
“LIAR!” Rogue yelled at me sharply. “LIAR!”
“Dad’d be proud,” Chan smirked again.
“Ya I know I’m a bad kid,” Top continued.
“You killed them, Lee,” Kat’s voice had become the center staged part of the song that was now twisting around me and suffocating me.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!” I shouted.
Suddenly, I heard another sound, and with one eye, I saw Ken slowly rising as well. My head moved sharply back to Rogue who continued to yell out oblivious to all of the notions around her.
“Damn, Master…. That hurt….” Ken’s voice had suddenly become part of the twisted black melody as it chimed in with the others and became a chorus of the damned around me, and as I opened my mouth, all that came out was a scream that echoed out into the nothingness. Yet even as I had spent my lungs and my energy, it was not enough. It was not enough. I found myself on my hands and knees listening to the song of death that was being sung around me, and I was shaking. I couldn’t stop… shaking…..
“You deserve to die,” Kat’s voice echoed suddenly seeming to change the chorus of the song. “How about I help?”
“And me,” Rogue said sharply.
“And me,” Chan answered.
“Don’t forget me,” Top laughed.
“Bye, Master,” Ken finished.
Suddenly, they were closing in on me… all of them… with knives in their hands… closer and closer… about to slit…. My… throat…. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With a sudden scream I found myself forcing my way up. I refused to die. I refused to die. I refused to give up and die! My eyes moved sharply around the circle that continued to enclose me, and what was reflected back at me caused my eyes to narrow. None of them had shadows, and I had one…. So then… what were these creatures.
“FORSIGHT!” I found myself yelling, and in that half second that followed, it seemed as though the skins off those that mattered to me were torn off. In their place were dark shapes with claws and fangs. Seeing that they were all uncovered before me, the group of them laughed hysterically. I found my muscles tightening, and in a sudden step I raised my leg.
“MEGA KICK!” I yelled kicking them all in a sudden movement. They were all forced backwards and seemed to dissolve as I kicked them. After another moment, they were all gone, and I was alone….. I found that the only sound that came to me…. was my breathing.
