*Chii*
The water was filling my lungs. I could only breath under water for so long.
I smiled then. I let my limbs go slack.
So I was gonna die here huh?
So…. Then….
Suddenly, I broke surface and gasped for air, ready to be pulled back under… But nothing happened. Where…. Where was the storm??? I was just DROWNING! And yet I found myself finally able to put my head above water and not get pushed back down again. The sky was even blue and clear as if nothing had happened.
“Wh…What the h-heck….” Someone up there must have triggered this. Someone must have either destroyed the demon or mollified him somehow…. But still I was still here in limbo and who knew how long that would last? I had to get moving.
But I was still tired, a bit too weak to take a chance swimming out in the middle of the ocean. I couldn’t see land anywhere.
Then what was I to do?
Growling a bit at myself, I began to weakly paddle. That storm and taken all I had and what was left was probably not enough to get to a place I couldn’t even see…. But this Chinchou wasn’t going to give up so easily! This thought gave me enough hope to keep going at a faster pace.
I had been swimming for only a good five minutes when I saw a shape in the sky. “The heck is that….?” I tried water then, just staring at the thing that was taking way too long to fall.
“They left you.”
I nearly jumped out of my skin and out of the water.
“Leave me alone!!!” I roared, feeling adrenalin pumping through me and my strong legs kicked the water up and around me.
“They left you.”
“GAH!” I shook my head, still swimming away. Why couldn’t that thing just leave me alone?! “I know that! Don’t you think I already know that?!”
“You’re lonely….” A face appeared in front of me, a head in the water and I stopped my pace to gasp and back away. My eyes were wide and my heart was beating hard. The head was a girl’s head. I didn’t recognize her, but she was young and her wavy black hair flowed through the water in careful waves. She was adorable… But now wasn’t the time to be polite to shadows.
“I’m not lonely!--I have friends I need to find!” I snap before swimming away from her, completely passing her on her left.
“Sure you are….” Her voice seemed to seep into my system, but I shook my head and swam faster.
“I don’t know who you are, sweetheart, but I think you need to stop swimming around here telling people they’re lonely in creepy voices and---GAH!!”
She appeared once again in my face, but even closer this time and I couldn’t stop myself fast enough before her cold hands grabbed my face and looked me straight in the eyes.
“You’re lonely.” She repeated.
Her cold stare was drilling into me and it became harder and harder to want to look away.
“They left you and you’re lonely.”
“So… What if I am?” I tried to sound like I didn’t care… But my heart was hurting. “I… I have the other Gijinka.”
Her empty stare was becoming more and more like a shadow, but I couldn’t concentrate on that. All I saw was what see told me.
“You want to get back at him, don’t you? You want to destroy him for leaving you alone to fend for yourself in the thunder storm, yes?”
I couldn’t deny her. That’s what I really wanted. I wanted my family back, my friends… And he had taken them from me.
“…Yes.” I whispered, unable to focus very well. “That’s exactly what I want.”
Her grin stretched literally from ear to ear and her eyes widened in triumph, but I noticed nothing. All I wanted was to do as she said. It felt… So right.
“Go then.”
A portal appeared beneath me in the water, but before I could dive for it, the spirit girl said, “He’s already there. Enjoy yourself.”
I nodded numbly and dove for the portal.

“N-no! Don’t TOUCH me you slutty----!!” But before they could get any closer than they already where, the women vanished into smoke before my eyes. I stood stunned fore a moment before BB squeaked and I turned around to see a swirling black mass behind us.
Some kind of portal?
I stared around, scrutinizing the place. I wasn’t so sure about this…. But any place without creepy, big-chested woman was better than here.
Without another thought I dove for the portal and instantly I was dropped onto dry land, but it was also from a pretty tall height so I hit the ground hard.
“AGH!!” I held my arm gingerly while I hissed, “Bb, you alright up there?”
She didn’t squeak back but I felt her vines that wove through my hair wiggle a bit. I sighed. “Good.”
I stood with a little difficulty, scanning around, almost losing my breath. An island! I could have knelt down right there and thanked every Pokemon god that I had gotten to such a familiar place alive (well, it wasn’t my island, but an island nonetheless).
It was sandy where I fell and about three yards away was a thick jungle--on the other side of me was the ocean…. So then, where EXACTLY was I?
Right then, a voice called and I turned.
“Hypnosis!” It said and I ducked automatically.
NOW I’M BEING ATTACKED?!?!
But nothing happen and I stood once again before the voice screamed, “Nightmare!”
“GAHHH!” I ducked a second time and again nothing happened. I threw my head back. “You gotta be kidding me.” I stood again, slowly and decided I’d fallow the voice since it OBIOUSLY wasn’t attacking me.
I found the source not too far from where I’d been. There where two Gjinkas, one I assumed was a Girafarig and the other a Houndour Gijinka . Oh good, some normal people. I sighed, I at least I hoped they were normal. Knowing this crazy place who knew.
“Excuse me!” I said and they spun around dripping wet and very surprised.
“Who are you??” The Girafarig asked me cautiously.
“My name is Cheruu and this is BB,” I pointed to her and she squeaked. “I don’t know if you guys are from that mansion place or not but I got there and suddenly got sucked into this Twilight Zone Freak-out Land.”
The two looked at each other, then looked back at me.
“You’re not a shadow?” the Houndour asked.
“Uh, no.”
“But I’ve never seen you before!” he said.
“Augh, I just told you--I JUST got to the mansion when I was swept into a dark place and a giant shadow dude dropped me into a room full of scary sexy women.” I shivered just remembering it but I stopped when I saw the two’s sweat drops. “Uh…. Never mind. I just need a posse or something until this blows over or I’ll go insane.”
I nearly jumped out of my skin when the Girafarig kid’s tail began to click it’s teeth. The guy nodded and I cocked my head in confusion. Could his tail have the same link me and BB had?
“Alright… I guess we need to stick together, right?” Girafarig guy held out his hand. “I’m Gale. This is Ivax…” The tail clicked at me and BB. “And this…?” Gale looked at the boy who was still gasping a bit at whatever had happened to get them wet (I’d assume it had something to do with the pond)
“I’m Hon…. Nice to meet you.”
Gale nodded. “Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, I think we should get going… Maybe find some of the others?”
“Sounds like a plan.” I said, nodding.
But as we talked about a path we should take, I could not help feeling that something else was coming after me right at this moment… And it had nothing do to with nightmares and ghosts.
