Melody was somehow, conscious again and my mind and strength kept in that as I ignored how the same feeling of dizziness attacked me on the second round.
“Blood…….. So much…. Blood….And they… they just….” Those words entered my head and an unpleasant thought arrived to me; however I tried to ignore it and focus on the task of making Melody to calm down
“Melody, we’re here… it’s ok… It’s just an illusion….” I knew how she felt and probably Lee knew it too but the only thing we wanted at that time was getting away from that situation and returning to the habitual life.
“N-n-no….” She said still in shock and I couldn’t help it, her feelings were starting to affect me, it got worse when the unpleasant thought came back and I figured Hon was somewhere, probably suffering
“I don’t want him to live the same thing I did, I don’t wish anyone to live that and less him…Where are you Hon?” I started to panic but suddenly I heard the best words ever
“Calm Mind,” Lee said and few seconds later my body began to feel it. Thanks to that I was able to calm my panic and let a deep sigh clearing my mind.
“Thank… you…” Melody finally said. She was herself again.
Lee looked at her and it seemed he was satisfied that the Calm mind worked; I let her go realizing she needed some space to organize her thoughts. After those actions there was a short period of silence in which we tried to figure out what was going to be our next move.
At first I was determined to use that precious little time to think in a strategy; however the effect of the calm mind was disappearing and with that another wave of anxiety invaded me; this time my body was making it hard to hide and my mind was not working at its 100 percent since the only thought I had was to find my brother as soon as possible.
“…Don’t you agree Hoom?” Once again my daydreaming was interrupted by someone, this time it was Melody. “Crap, I need to stop my thoughts when there is a crisis” I told myself before looking at the Mudkip and Hitmonlee my eyes had in front.
Both were looking at me waiting for an answer.
“..what?” I asked
“We wanted to know your opinion. We were talking about the best option which is looking for more members of the club” Melody said in her usual tone of voice and I wondered how she was able to keep calmed.
“I agree with it…”
“You still look anxious, are you all right?” Lee asked looking through me He discovered me, but why hiding it if its going to get things worst?
“Actually, no, I’m not fine…I just want to find my brother and figure a way to return to our normal lives…” I said looking down and noticing how Melody’s mood changed when I mentioned Hon “But I know my brother is strong so he is probably fine…I hope…” My optimism was not the best but it helped a little.
“Then we should get going” Lee said and I knew he understood how we were feeling. We stood up and began to walk through the place not knowing where to go; several minutes after we were still looking for a portal or something similar to it; there was a silent atmosphere until a little conversation began.
“Have you seen any other member?” Melody asked in an attempt to broke the silence that was killing me too, I thanked her.
“Actually, I think before being sucked by the portal we were near a group of gijinkas” Lee said
“could you identify them?”
“Not really, their scent was vague; however I see your ability to scent others is good Hoom. Were you able to identify them?” Lee asked looking at me and I guess I answered without thinking about it.
“I could sense Lux, Estelle and two other gijinkas…Lux was…he was…very weak…”
After that, another period of silence surround us and I wasn’t sure why that happened but my legs kept walking and the same discussion I was having with my thoughts returned. Sometime after a cold and strong breeze made me notice that the background was changing; the sky was getting dark and a huge amount of clouds began to gather, the wind was beginning to act as if it were mad; no one was aware of what was happening until it finally caught us. We were now in the center of a hurricane but it seems it was the new portal.
We were lucky to grab our hands during it; I nearly stick to Lee again since he was the one who made me feel safe at that time; Melody did the same and we stuck together waiting between harsh movements until we were finally thrown into a new place.
Our landing was not very pleasant since we hit a tree and then the ground; my body was hurting a lot and my pajama or what was left from it was kind of stuck in one of the branches. Lee managed to land in a proper way but Melody was passing through a similar situation as mine.
“Are you sure we changed from place or dimension?” I asked looking at the place which seemed similar to the one from before.
“It seems we did…” Said Melody as we both managed to get rid of the tree’s branches.
We were about to continue our searching until I felt some type of clothe in my back; I turned to see Lee placing his jacket in my shoulders.
“It seems you need it…” He said looking to one side as I looked at myself; indeed, what was left of the big shirt of my pajama was disappearing so Lee’s jacket was very helpful.
“Are you sure is fine with you?” Melody and I looked at him and couldn’t help but to notice his body, a slight blush came to my face and my head quickly turned to the other direction; a chuckled came to me as my eyes noticed Melody reacted like me; I couldn’t believe there was an actual funny moment within all this chaos.
We kept searching and my heart almost collapsed when my nose noticed the familiar scent form Hon.
“They are there!!” almost yelling, my legs began to ran quickly toward the direction; then they suddenly stopped and so did Melody and Lee.
“What happened?” She asked. On my side I softly pushed her towards Hon direction knowing she too was very worried about him. Then my eyes noticed the Cherubi gijinka from before and I nearly ran and tackled him.
“You are alive!!!”
“Who are you?!!” He said with a nervous tone on his voice and instantly my arms let him go, now noticing the weird faces of Lee and another new gijinka who seemed to be a girafarig I slowly turned to see Hon who was very happy to see Melody, now I couldn’t wait more, I ran to where he was.
